Encantadora, tradicional y centenaria, esta casa de estilo artesanal ha sido meticulosamente restaurada y amueblada con buen gusto. Acomódate en la cómoda sala de estar o en el acogedor estudio, en el porche atemporal o en uno de los tres patios y terrazas del patio trasero para disfrutar de un momento de calma. Un verdadero hogar lejos de casa en un barrio tranquilo y familiar. A pocos minutos del centro de Seattle, también hay muchos servicios a poca distancia a pie. El acceso al transporte público es amplio. El artesano es el estilo por excelencia de una casa de Seattle. La nuestra es una Craftsman de tamaño completo con un verdadero segundo piso. Ha sido el hogar de mi familia durante más de una década, y lo hemos renovado y pulido a lo largo de los años. Ahora que el nido está vacío, estamos viajando mucho y compartiendo el alojamiento para que los huéspedes lo disfruten. Hemos retirado todos nuestros artículos personales, dejando solo lo que necesitarás para tu estancia. No verás nuestra ropa ni nuestro desorden personal. Los armarios, los cajones de la cómoda y los botiquines son tuyos y estarán vacíos. Las sábanas solo las utilizan los huéspedes, no nosotros. No queremos que sientas que te estás quedando en la casa de otra persona. Para lograr esto, hemos sellado dos habitaciones de la casa, donde guardaremos todos nuestros efectos personales. Podrás hacer uso de casi todas las habitaciones de ambas plantas. Tu espacio incluye la sala de estar, el comedor, la cocina, el estudio/dormitorio de invitados, dos baños completos y tres dormitorios en la planta superior. También puedes reservar el apartamento del sótano y utilizar los tres niveles de la casa (más información en un minuto). Habrá un dormitorio en la planta principal y un dormitorio en la planta superior que estarán cerrados con llave (uno se utiliza como oficina, el otro como dormitorio). Afortunadamente, tenemos un total de seis dormitorios, por lo que quedan muchos para los huéspedes. Uno de los armarios de arriba también estará cerrado. En estas habitaciones es donde guardamos todas nuestras cosas personales para que no estorben. Aquí también es donde vivimos principalmente cuando estamos en casa, por lo que no estamos estropeando el espacio de los huéspedes. Acerca de ese apartamento del sótano: también hay una unidad de dos dormitorios (Woodland Park Suite en Airbnb) en el nivel del sótano. Cuando te hospedes en la casa, es posible que haya otros huéspedes alojados en la suite debajo de ti. Tiene su propia entrada y está completamente separada de la casa. También podríamos usarla ocasionalmente si está vacía y la casa principal está reservada. También puedes reservar el sótano con la casa y tener los tres niveles para usar. Eso te daría un total de 5/6 dormitorios y tres baños. Por cierto, si quieres aún MÁS espacio, también puedes reservar nuestro estudio independiente en el patio trasero (Workshop Studio en Airbnb). Tiene una cama tamaño queen, un baño de 3/4 y una pequeña cocina. Eso te daría hasta 7 dormitorios y 4 baños. En cuanto a la casa principal, esto es lo que obtendrás: un dormitorio principal con una cama tamaño king, otro dormitorio con una cama tamaño queen y un tercer dormitorio con dos camas individuales. Todos están arriba y adyacentes a un baño de cinco piezas, con ducha, bañera con patas y dos lavabos. En la planta principal se encuentra la sala de estar, comedor con capacidad para 6-8 personas, cocina completa con una gama Wolf, nevera de dos puertas con dispensador de hielo y agua, lavavajillas, tostadora, molinillo de café y cafetera, lavadora y secadora. Hay otro baño completo en la planta principal con una combinación de bañera con patas/ducha y dos lavabos de pedestal. Junto a la cocina hay una guarida con sofá modular y TV. También puedes usarlo como dormitorio, ya que te proporcionaremos un colchón hinchable tamaño queen. El porche delantero y el porche trasero son todos tuyos. Hay una parrilla de gas en la terraza trasera, así como una pequeña mesa y sillas. Cuando te hospedes en la casa, es posible que veas a otros huéspedes (de la suite del sótano o del estudio) ir y venir, aunque no me sorprendería que nunca lo vieras. Los demás huéspedes entran en sus alojamientos a través del patio trasero. Entrarás por la puerta principal. Utilizamos la aplicación de cerradura inteligente «August Home» para dar a los huéspedes acceso a la casa. Tener un coche es una opción práctica aquí. Es bastante fácil moverse y aparcar y cubrirás más terreno. Tendrás un lugar fuera de la calle y un amplio estacionamiento en la calle. El sistema de autobuses también es bastante bueno en nuestro barrio. Hay un autobús exprés (la línea E RapidRide) que para a cinco manzanas en Aurora Avenue y va directamente al centro de la ciudad. También puedes coger el autobús número 5 a cuatro manzanas para llegar al centro de la ciudad; es casi tan rápido como el autobús expreso. El autobús n.º 44 también está a cuatro manzanas y va al oeste hasta Ballard y al este hasta la Universidad de Washington. Ten en cuenta que, aunque la casa principal es toda tuya, es posible que otros huéspedes (o yo) nos alojemos debajo de ti en la suite del sótano. La insonorización es buena pero no perfecta. Es posible que los escuches; es posible que te escuchen a ti, así que usa el sentido común y sé cortés con el ruido y los pasos fuertes. Pedimos a los huéspedes que no usen zapatos dentro de la casa; esto reduce el ruido y mantiene los pisos más limpios. Siempre hemos sido un hogar sin zapatos. Sí, a veces es un pequeño complejo animado, razón de más para enfatizar que, si bien podemos y estamos encantados de alojar a grandes grupos, necesitamos que todos sean huéspedes respetuosos, corteses y tranquilos. Si realmente quieres soltarte el pelo y darlo todo, te aplaudo y te envidio... pero si ese es el caso, el nuestro no es el lugar ideal para reservar. Vivimos en un barrio urbano denso y esperamos que todos los huéspedes sean conscientes y respetuosos con la comodidad de otros huéspedes y vecinos.

Your home away from home is a two level unit in an incredible vintage Queen Anne landmark home. Your apartment has been beautifully furnished, luxury beds with feather toppers, view decks, and all the details you need to make your stay perfect. Our apartment has two official bedroom (walls not shared) with one queen bed and one king. An additional sleeping nook has two twin beds perfect for kids or additional guests. We have plenty of free on street parking as well as two driveway spaces that you may use anytime they are free. The kitchen is stocked for all your cooking needs. You will find all the condiments and extras on hand necessary, including coffee and creamer (priority uno). We will do our very best to make your stay enjoyable at a price that makes it affordable to visit Seattle again in the future. Many of you like the ability to check in early, which is possible when the guests prior text me to say they have vacated (often guests leave before the 11AM check out time which allows me to get a early start on the cleaning). Guest will have access to our parking/driveway, view decks, and all the advice a person could want about Seattle eating and drinking! We use a keyless entry system to make things super easy on in and out. It's your trip, just pay your money and take good care of the apartment and the rest is up to you. I am here if you need me via text, however, I'm often times not on site. This well-located home is only two blocks away from the famous 'Frasier' view. The top of Queen Anne is an historic and very walkable area, with great vistas. There are also plentiful bars, cafes, bookstores, salons, tea shops, and eateries. We are a three story victorian with a massively overgrown hedge on the Galer side and a driveway on the very wide 5th West side of the street. There are two driveway spots and street parking. Please use anything that is available. Transportation: If you aren’t planning on renting a car (not necessary in my mind) we have some great options. Airport/Car Service: ABC Transport (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) This car service is the most reliable, safest, most affordable way to get to the airport. Steve will answer a call 24/7 and could not be nicer. The airport is a flat $35 (tip not included) to and from Seatac. The cars are huge old town cars and very safe drivers. They are absolutely always on time both coming and going, and the extra trunk space for suit cases is great. It is CHEAPER to use this service than to take a cab and they know my location. I know that some of you are taking side trips once you arrive. ABC does transportation to many places so it is worth a call to see talk over your plans. Around Seattle: UBER CAR SERVICE The Uber app connects you to a driver at the tap of a button. Once the app is installed on your phone you can pull up a map to see the cars in your area. When you install the app you will put in your payment information. Once ready for a car simply pull up the app, drop a pin at your location, and wait for a car in the area to confirm they will pick you up. You will get a text message with your drivers name and photo as well as an estimated time to pick up. You can watch the car on the map make their way over to you. It’s very slick! You can choose between the fancy new town car or SUV (fun for weddings or special events), Hybrid Vehicle (unmarked but manned by a taxi driver), or lastly a citizen’s car (marked by a furry pink mustache). The citizen car is the cheapest route, but don’t worry….the driver and the cars have been vetted with background checks on both the driver and the car (which must be 5 years young or less, clean, and safe). There is no exchange of cash or tipping since that’s all included in your prior setup of the account. I’ve found it to be very affordable depending on which car level you choose - and so dang simple anyone can use it! I’m unaware of the car seat installation policy if you have young ones, however, I recommend this service and use it personally several times a month. DO NOT take Uber to the airport as will cost you a fortune. BUS: There is a bus stop right in front of our home that will take you directly downtown. If you want to find a specific destination Metro has a trip planner that can be helpful for busing to any location in Seattle. WALKING: Seattle is a great city for walking. The walk downtown is easy going down (we are at the tipity top of Queen Anne Hill about 2 blocks from the famous Fraiser skyline view) but the walk back can be a thigh burner. On top of Queen Anne we do have multiple great dining options as well as a Trader Joes (best grocery store ever and so cheap) just just a few blocks away, parks, pools, cafes, nail shops, and bars Please be light footed early in the morning and late at night as to not disturb the family that resides below. Old houses are notoriously loud and delicate! We will do our very best to make your stay enjoyable at a price that makes it affordable to visit Seattle again in the future. I always unpack completely when traveling and I encourage you to do so! South Lake Union (SLU) is the center of Seattle's tech and biotech industries during the day. Have a relaxed evening at a great boutique restaurant or bar. It's walkable in every direction to Seattle's great destinations including the Space Needle. The SLU Seattle Streetcar (inbound) stops directly in front of the building. Hop on and get connected to Link Light Rail all the way to the airport or catch a bus to Capitol Hill, Ballard or Queen Anne. South Lake Union is a hotbed of construction activity and although there is nothing currently happening next to the building, the area is alive with workers during the day. Evenings are quiet and relaxing.
