The host was fantastic, really accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The house was perfect. It really just seemed like we were staying at a friend’s house who was thoughtful enough to leave everything we could need.

We enjoyed our stay at this family farmhouse. The hosts were welcoming and great communicators. The house is on a quiet residential street. We had everything we needed - fans, kitchen utensils and gadgets, linens, and towels. It was nice to stay at a place that the owners stay in because there were comfort and convenience items (like lamps in the right places, comfortable seating arranged for group conversation, coasters, throws) that are often overlooked in places that are set up solely for AirBnb rentals. Lots of games - the big room would be perfect for families with active children.

Can’t say enough about the location and for every bedroom to have an ocean view is spectacular. Even packing up to go, while enjoying the view, was not laborious. Will definitely want to return. Kitchen was well-stocked. Gino was a great at communicating.

My stay was very comfortable. The property was well kept and updated. The beds and furniture were were in perfect condition. Both the house and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would visit again!

Absolutely lovely! A very unique space with the perfect balance of quirky retro cottage meets family lake house. We loved spending time outside whether it was on the dock and in the lake or relaxing on the screened in balcony upstairs! Would absolutely do it again!

Jen was super nice to converse with, super responsive, and her place was not only exactly as advertised, but even more fun once we got there! The whimsical identity of the property and her spirit shines through every detail, inside and out. It just made staying there so much fun, especially since we took advantage of a short boat ride when the weather broke just in time! Her decor was really cool, the furniture was comfy (especially the beds!), and the place is set up with convenience in mind. So nice to have that backyard serenity to melt the day away, too. Can’t wait to come back!

This is what an airbnb should be. We’ve rented many bnbs over the years and Christine’s place felt like home. The surroundings are beautiful, and the house is charming, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Yarmouth is a great town as well, just a stones throw from Portland and the coast. We really couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay to enjoy the beauty of Maine :)

Bonnie's home in Limerick was great, exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful home, great location and clean and welcoming. Everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a cozy feel that was perfect for spending Christmas in Maine with our family.

Enjoyed our stay in at this apartment the west end. Place was clean and well appointed, very comfortable spot for a few days.

My 1 month and 2 day stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was clean, spacious, and well appointed with great WiFi for remote working and living. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and apartment was very quiet. This was a huge bonus for being so close to city amenities! There was coin op laundry in the basement and ample street parking nearby. It was walking distance to downtown, to the water for beautiful sunsets and also to restaurants and multiple other great establishments. It was a short drive to the East Promenade and South Portland beaches. I thoroughly enjoyed riding my bike around Portland and along the numerous beautiful bike paths. The hosts were communicative and lovely. They provided 2 bottles of wine and multiple snacks upon my arrival as well. What a nice touch! Lastly, the neighborhood itself and the city as a whole felt very safe, which was greatly appreciated as a solo female traveler. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had a great time at Joan’s cozy condo! She made freshly baked goodies upon our arrival, it was delicious! 2 min away from the beach! The location can’t be beat. The only downside was the train, very close to the house, that passes roughly every three hours during week days. If you don’t mind the nose, the place is perfect for a small family, friends and couples. It had different board games, beach toys for kids, foldable beach chairs etc. Overall great place! The unit was very clean and had all the kitchen appliances we needed. The beds including mattresses and linens were very comfortable and plenty of blankets were available. Location was great to visit the sights in Bath. We'd definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Portland! The house was stunning—beautifully designed with so much intention and care. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully laid out. It was just a quick 5–10 minute drive to downtown, but felt like a peaceful retreat. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great recommendations and little touches that made the stay extra special—like the delicious pastries they brought us! Highlights for us included the luxurious bathroom with the tub and shower, the cozy linens, and enjoying the projector in the evenings. We also really appreciated how eco-friendly the space was, from the materials used in the remodel to the little details like the compost bucket and so much more. You can truly see how much heart and effort the hosts put into creating this home. So, so perfect—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Staying at Kim’s for the month of February was awesome. It was noted in the listed that street parking was the only option which may be an issue for some however, Kim was extremely helpful in advising on best places to park and always warned me of any parking ban occurring overnight. The location of Kim’s place was perfectly situation in the West End close to downtown/Old Port, I barely ever used my car! Additionally, Kim’s place was less than a 10 minute walk to MMC, making it very easy to walk to work for those working at the hospital. Having just moved to the area and needing a place to stay while I waited to find a more permanent place, I couldn’t have asked to stay in a better spot. High recommend for any short or long term stays! Thanks again, Kim! :)

The bed was super cozy, the host was responsive and friendly, and the cats were adorable! I had a nice evening with the host chilling with the cats (and petting and playing with them) while watching TV, and when I stepped out for dinner I found a great place following her recommendations. The breakfast was great! The French toast was delicious, and the timing was perfect - made fresh shortly after I came downstairs, close to the time we’d discussed the day before. Check-in and check-out were simple too.

This is the second time I've stayed with Marsha and Steve and I never wanted to leave! Their home is beautiful and welcoming, as is the island. Can't wait to come back :)

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

John was a lovely host, and the apartment was wonderful. The location was a great starting point from which to explore the surrounding area. Super peaceful, and the bed was so comfy. At night, you can see the stars through the skylights, which was great. The place had everything needed for a short stay, would definitely recommend!

We only stayed for one night but had such a good night's sleep! Peter and Karen were the perfect hosts. Responsive when we asked questions and were very accomodating! We particularly enjoyed the warm, bathroom floors and the spruced up studio. 10/10 would recommend to other travelers :)

Had a wonderful time at Daniel’s Airbnb! We were greeted with a warm reception and delicious apple cake with delicious sweet tea! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and his beautiful home. We felt right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Our accommodations were very comfortable. Best part was the delicious breakfast with coffee and tea and scrumptious omelette with homemade hash browns! I wanted the recipe! I highly recommend Daniel’s place, it made our vacation a little more special! PS: Reds Eats in Wiscasset Maine was the best ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford ate there too) Thanks for the recommendation!!

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

We loved everything about our stay here. Our hostess, Marsha, was friendly, helpful, and attentive to our every need. She stayed up late to greet us when our flight was delayed, then presented us with a beautiful spread for breakfast. She’s been in the area for many years and told great stories. Location is perfect. Short walk to That Place for excellent dinner and wonderful walk along Marginal Way where we saw the sun rise. Super clean, cozy, and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
