A bit further away, but worth the drive, are Whitecap Mountain and Porcupine Mountains. Also, close to ABR x-c skiing, the Iron Belle Trail, and Lake Superior. Winter Hikes are beautiful in the U.P. Bring your fur babies along for a winter hike to the Porkies, Lake of the Clouds or Black River Scenic Byway.

Come stay on our hobby farm with us! We are in a great central location to multiple hiking trails and gorgeous falls. We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. We also are only a few miles from the ATV trails if you would rather spend the day riding the trails. We have multiple places to mountain bike or kayak. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Super easy to find right off US2. Close to any and all adventures in the area. There are 2 separate bedrooms and a pull out bed in the couch if needed. Fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, games and a kids version of pool, air hockey, and foosball table in the basement.

Woodlands Wild Cabin on 35 Acres of Land

This is the oldest cabin on Powderhorn Road & is nestled in 35 wooded acres. The property is located on Powderhorn Road, 1/2 mile North from US 2. We are 1st two gravel driveways on the left (loop drive) just as you crest the hill. The outdoor setting has a spectacular view of the surroundings which includes 2 ponds and a spring fed fountain.

Lake Superior is about 6 miles to the north, Lake Gogebic is 12 miles to the south. The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is 9 miles away along Lake Superior, offering skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and waterfalls.
