A really beautiful little place - you could be anywhere in the world. It’s so cosy, private and the sound of the birds and the stream in the morning was just idyllic 🥰 the place is really cute and we had everything we needed. The hosts were so friendly and just lovely people. They went above and beyond with their reception, even including a personalised postcard, sweet treats and extra things we may have needed for the dog too! A really great place and highly recommend!

Despite bad weather and a couple of power cuts we had a lovely few days away. The property felt private and not overlooked and was well equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A lovely beach is a short walk away, we also took a short drive into looe for a cuppa and cake. We would definitely stay longer next time.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. Lovely cottage for our trip. The downstairs bedroom was lovely as our parents struggle with stairs and has a bathroom as well. The kitchen was just ideal in terms of what we needed. The park had loads of things to do. Our little one loved the swimming pool. A nice place to stay for a small family

We stayed with our two kids (7 and 4 years) and had a great week. The apartment was a good size with a really nice view of the tree’s from the main bedroom, there's a great view of the sea from the apartment and balcony area as well. The balcony is big and really makes the most of the lovely surroundings. The showers good and the kitchens well stocked with utensils, crockery etc. The beach is great and is only an easy short stroll away, the waves can be heard from the apartment. The beach bar / cafe was open 09:00-22:00 every day and was decent aswell. Nice easy communication with the host who was responsive with any messages. Cheers for a nice stay!

House was lovely, well equipped, great location. Very well located for our days out. We were 4 adults, and the house was very comfortable. Would definitely like to go back again.

We enjoyed our stay as it provided us a very quiet and comfortable experience. The views from the kitchen/living room were wonderful with a wide variety of wildlife and rural farming countryside. It was interesting to catch a glimpse of the farmer and his obedient sheep dogs go out in the morning in the adjacent field. I heard an owl hooting one morning. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high standard of accommodation in this area.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

Me, my husband and 2 children had a fantastic stay for 4 nights over the Easter weekend. The home was spotlessly clean, very spacious and on a lovely holiday park with lots of amenities. A great central location to visit lots of different parts of Cornwall, which we did. The rainy days didn’t stop us from having a lovely time as there was plenty to do indoors too. Julia is a great host, with great communication and lots of recommendations for us. Definitely recommend this lovely home and host x
