We were looking for a total peaceful break, clear instructions on how to use amenities, hot tub was really clean and really warm so enjoyed hours relaxing in it! Thank you Ainslie ❤️

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Drovers Cottage is absolutely 100% our favourite place we've stayed! Unanimously voted by 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 very happy hounds! Kylie is a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make our arrival at the cottage to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary really special. The cottage is comfortable, cosy and the décor is fabulous and there are little eco touches everywhere - the setting is incredibly pretty - even when the mists came in and the hills disappeared, and of course, there's the hot tub!!! We'd highly recommend this Scottish hideaway.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Ali's place. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Hot tub and garnden really make the place with stunning views. Easy access to Edinburgh by train and car and also the Fife coastal path. We loved it! would be very happy to return again one day. Ali was the perfect host.

Helen was an excellent host and very helpful when we were dropped off at the wrong place! We felt really welcomed in their home, and enjoyed the lovely welcome gift. The hot tub is lovely and overlooks the beautiful property. Loved our stay!

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

Loved this fisherman’s cottage. Bigger than I had anticipated and a real home from home with everything you might need provided. Comfy beds! Appreciated the enclosed back garden for my two dogs to get a quick toilet break, although the beach across the road meant most times we wanted to head there again and enjoy the amazing beach views! Brett was very helpful and always communicated quickly. This trip was too short - we will be back! So much to see and do in the surrounding area.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

This house was even better than we expected from the photos. The location was good, on the outskirts of town, but walkable into the centre, with shops and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay in Aviemore and would love to go back. We can recommend Carol's house for visiting the area.

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

The place was amazing, especially for Puzzle the dog! Love the fact that we had a secure garden for him to run around and the surroundings were beautiful. The house was not too far from local attractions or things to do.

What a fabulous little find, cosy cottage fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bed was so comfortable had a great nights sleep. Great location for shops and food. House was spotlessly clean and fab complimentary toiletries. Host was good communicator and was good to know they were available and on hand if needed which we didnt as everything was perfect. Good base for exploring Ballater , Braemar and the surrounding area including Lochnagar.

A clean, well equipped, home, in a quiet location, with easy access to many places in the northern Highlands. would stay again.

Had a fantastic stay here after exploring Ben Nevis, Glencoe, and the surrounding area. The place was spotless, peaceful, and cosy – just what we needed after long, rainy hikes. The hosts were lovely and super helpful, and the quiet atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommend!

Highly enjoyable stay - very easy checkin, great location, very nice cottage. Really easy to get around (with car), Bostock bakery just 5 mins down the road Highly recommended for a nice trip away - Edinburgh was a 40min drive too

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. very clean and well presented wee house heating and night lights on timers / thermostats so we were never cold or felt unsafe going to loo in the night. My only constructive feedback was there was no kitchen door, we had planned to keep our fur babies shut there at night to keep them off furniture and prevent them wandering upstairs but thankfully we always bring with us enough covers and protectors for furniture as we would take every precaution to protect furniture that didn't belong to us even though our dogs are trained and well bahaved you can never predict what they may do away from home. Fiona was a fab host and there was some unexpected wee freebies which made my wee old dad very happy, thank you for having us.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful family home,. The peace and quiet was amazing as was the nature we were surrounded in. Your neighbours were so friendly too. Also thank you for also allowing us to stay for so long. It was perfect for our adventures. Can’t recommend enough.

Sycamore Cottage is an absolute haven. Eco friendly , lovely location beautiful views Very warm and cosy cottage , the bed is so comfy . Every thing in the cottage has been so well thought out ! Briony is the perfect host an absolutely lovely lady . She gave us lots of info about the area. Gives easy access for cyclists to get onto Speyside way ! No hesitation in recommending this property 😊
