We stayed here for our family get-together for the recent holiday. The location and the space were great. There was plenty of access to different trails around the cabin and was close to any stores that we needed. Overall, the trip was enjoyable.

Our stay at this cabin was unforgettable. The cabin was spotless, organized, accommodating, and extremely cozy. It’s exactly what we were looking for in our search for a remote weekend away in the country side. The cabin had comfy beds, plenty of towels, cooking utensils, easy check-in and out instructions, and felt very safe. Plus, it’s a perfect distance from the area’s best hiking trails and outdoor landmarks for visitors from out of town. We recommend this listing for anyone interested in an ideal cabin experience. Cassie rocks!

Great value and very friendly owners...on a pretty creek and firewood provided. Right next to the trails however it is on a main road. The back is very private.

we enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven immensely. It was in the perfect spot for a relaxing stay for us and our fur baby, with a short sprint to Bristol Motor Speedway for the races. Hope to come back soon!

The GPS for google stops a little ahead of the cabin itself Siri takes you closer. The sign is a little small so arriving late at night could be an issue but the house was amazing and a lot closer to the Red River Gorge than expected. Allen was a wonderful host and the neighborhood was quiet. It had a very Gatlinburg feel ❤️

Maco’s place was absolutely stunning! It was super comfortable and clean. Very secluded and private with the gate code. Responsive and there if you need and not if you don’t. We unfortunately had to leave early due to a family emergency so we will be coming back to finish the trip. Highly recommended!! Oh and their dogs are super sweet and will most likely come to visit you!

Cabin was perfect for 2 people and very clean upon arrival. Perfect little weekend getaway!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is spotless, has everything, and is in a great location for accessing the park. A surprising must visit is with the horses, goats, chickens, dog and cat. You won’t bother anyone by visiting and the goats, horses and chickens will take you right to their treats. The dog will bring his stick right to you so you can toss it and he will fetch. Say “drop” and he will lay the stick ay your feet. Mayrene bakes a wonderful lemon poppy loaf and left us six farm fresh eggs. Really had a great time and if we are in the area again we will book with Jack and Mayrene.

Ginger’s Delight cabin was perfect for my family & I to come, unplug & celebrate our daughter’s 7th birthday! Alex was amazing!

We were in Bluff city for a wedding and this place was perfect for us two. Quiet and beautiful. It was fun interacting with the goats and Bonnie the dog. If I come back to Bluff City I would stay here again.

I loved this little cabin, and Linda was the sweetest host. I was in an accident a week prior and dealing with rental car issues and she offered to let me reschedule (I didn't have to). The cabin is in a beautiful spot and very cozy. Being able to bring my dogs made life a lot easier, and I greatly appreciate Linda's hospitality and kindness after checkout.

My family and I had a wonderful stay 🤗 The cabin is beautiful and cozy and the view was stunning! We spent a lot of our time out on the balcony enjoying the view, walking our dogs around the area and in the living room watching movies 🎥 Only complaint is that when we arrived after driving 15hrs to get there, the cabin was unfortunately dirty. Very dusty, dirty bathrooms, bedsheets were stained and did not look or smell washed at all, trash and clothes left over from previous guests were littered on closet floors. It looked like the cleaning crew was not in the mood to do their jobs 😅 We arrived around 6pm, very tired from our trip and had to put all our bed sheets to wash and clean all the mess left behind :( Our host was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee. (Also the WiFi was VERY slow) But we did not let any of that ruin our trip so overall we had a great time! 🌟

Great place, if you want to disconnect from the world and find a peaceful and quiet place, this is perfect !

We stayed here during a weekend getaway to Wildcat. It is super close to the park. Easy to check in. Would stay again !!

Majestic, relaxing, and fun!!!About thirteen fish were caught in a 2-day stay, saw bald eagles, perrigene falcons, cranes, ducks, cardinals, so many types of birds. A slice of manna this cabin is! John is prompt and an excellent host! John's Cabin at the Lake is A+ for your mind, body, and soul!

This place is very secluded, it’s just as the pictured online. The view from porch is amazing. We definitely recommend this home away from home to everyone.

This place was far off the beaten path next to the woods. We slept great. Debbie was kind and helpful. Newer couch,loveseat. NoTV channels but tons of videos and DVDs to watch. Some games and puzzles as well. We would visit again!

My girlfriend and I took a last minute trip to cruise down to see Cumberland Falls. Unfortunately we got caught in the rain on our motorcycle and ended up staying here. The hosts were very nice and would 10/10 recommend for anyone! Can’t beat the price nor the scenery!

Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us. Our family and dogs enjoyed this peaceful and comfortable place. We had gorgeous weather and loved sitting next to the creek to watch the dogs, drink coffee, read a book and even created a little homemade boat race. The porches were also great gathering places for playing a card game or conversation. This place is wonderfully decorated and everything was clean and comfortable. We brought our own bottled water and did have 4 wheel drive vehicles. Thank you for the upfront and excellent directions. I was very happy to have arrived in the daylight as coming in at dark would have been extremely challenging. It was very helpful to let us know in advance that we would not have service once on the driveway. Screen shots of all your info was key. Thank you again for sharing this special place with us. We would love to come back again in the fall.
