This is a boss place - it's actually even more impressive than the photos suggest. There are so many different entertainment and chill out areas, all constructed with excellent thought. Gary is a proper gent - very friendly and helpful. The property is close to excellent restaurants and not too far from the main road, but also very nicely tucked away in a secure, quiet reserve. Full value for money...

If you're looking for a getaway in the city, you're looking at the right place. Easily accessible in Johannesburg and close to amenities and activities but in a location that is private and beautiful. You'll feel like you're out of the city, while being in it. The place is beautiful and matches the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed my friend's bachelorette weekend.

What an amazing stay! Staying at Samantha’s house was such a treat. It’s a gorgeous spot with stunning views from every room! Lots of stairs which would make it tricky for a family with younger children though (down to the pool room and up to the main room). Samatha was a wonderful host with clear instructions and was incredibly responsive.

We enjoyed a wonderful, long weekend stay at Pumba Place. The house is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We loved the wild animals that strolled by the house, in the mornings and afternoons. We’ll definitely be back!

An absolutely wonderful weekend at Martens place. Marten was a great host and very responsive. Brave is an absolute star, he made sure we felt right at home and was very helpful. Martens home is really beautiful and exceeds the pictures. The back yard is stunning and so peaceful. It was a cold weekend but we managed to swim abit and loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer, however we already planning to visit again soon. I honestly can't find any faults. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

We had an unforgettable stay at this venue — I’d happily do it all over again. The value for money was outstanding, and Stacey, Melody and her team were absolutely wonderful: warm, welcoming, and always one step ahead of our needs. For that weekend, it felt like home — as if I was hosting from my own place. Welcoming such a large group never felt this effortless, and my guests were genuinely impressed. Many said it felt like they’d just stepped into a better, more joyful version of life. One small suggestion: it would be fantastic if the location pin led guests directly to the house, as some began wondering if they were lost on the long drive from the gate and they would drive back. Adding a note in the directions about the board or sign at the gate would also help make arrivals smoother.

The house was extremely well equipped - all amenities were modern, plenty of everything, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. The host was extremely communicative and responsive, and staff were in the background to do things we needed. Highly recommended.

What a host, what a place! This kind of service is comparable to a hotel experience. It all starts when you turn into the avenue, overhanging trees line the road and welcome you into the haven. The check in process was smooth and simple, the helper was very polite and showed me to the well furnished patio. The unit I walked into had a welcoming open lounge to kitchen setup with a super comfy sleeper couch. There was everything you could need to make a stay practical and comfortable: from a complimentary DIY breakfast in the fridge to pots, pans and all utensils you'd need, there was even olive oil and spices, not to mention the tea/coffee and rusks she has so kindly provided. I could go on and on, 5 stars from me hands down. Cant wait to go back...if i can find an opening lol.

It was a great place to stay- quiet and the neighborhood was great especially if you enjoy running. The place was cozy, had everything I needed and other small things I didn’t expect like travel adapters which I forgot to bring lol Would recommend

Tracy’s Airbnb felt like a true home away from home. The space was warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Check-in and checkout were seamless, making my stay hassle-free. Tracy was a fantastic host—always available when needed, respectful of privacy, and incredibly understanding. Her attentiveness and kindness made all the difference. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would gladly stay again.

This is a perfect place to come home to after a busy day at work. all that i needed was there. Natasha is a fantastic , friendly host who will go out of her way to help and assist.

Very nice accommodation in a peaceful location, close to the river! Kitchen quite well equipped for cooking and a braai area just in front. The Utopia facilities - around a 15 minute walk from the accommodation (or you can easily drive there and park) - including two large pools and putt putt are also very nice. Worth noting that the two bedrooms upstairs are separated only by a curtain (no door) which wasn’t a problem for us (a couple) however might be an issue if you are with a larger family/group. Also might not be the best choice if you are scared of snakes! We encountered a spitting cobra just in front of the chalet, next to our parked car, which moved into the bush once it saw us.

This place is so peaceful, if you are looking for a serene place to relax, out of the city and connect with nature this is the place to be. Anita is such an impeccable host, she constantly checks up on you and is big on communication . The unit has all the necessities you might need during your stay and it's one of the most beautiful in the premises situated close to the flowing river. I will definitely be coming back, we enjoyed ourselves.

The Mana Cabin at Melody Hill Retreat is a cozy, self-catering tiny home nestled among the trees, offering serene views and a private path to the Magalies River. Its thoughtful design features reclaimed materials, a super-king bed, indoor and outdoor baths, and inviting outdoor spaces, making it an ideal getaway for two. A really great place to relax!
