We had an amazing time at this cottage — it exceeded all expectations. The place was incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group without feeling crowded at all. Every amenity you could ask for was available: Lots of kitchen space, clean and modern bathrooms, cozy bedrooms, and tons of indoor and outdoor space to relax or have fun. There was so much to do — from board games and outdoor sports to just sitting around the firepit under the stars. The area around the cottage was peaceful and scenic, making it the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. The host was also fantastic — super responsive, helpful, and genuinely made sure our stay went smoothly from start to finish. You can tell they put a lot of care into making the place feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a getaway with a big group. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed over the long weekend. Was a great place with a spacious backyard. The lake is only a few minutes away and having a pool in the backyard was great! Host was welcoming and responsive. Had a great time!

Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable. The cottage was very clean with all essentials and many pleasant extras included like Keurig machine, bbq, kayaks and canoes, fire pit, and pool. The lake is quiet here with access to it steps from the cottage. A little boat house is also available with many life jackets for adults and kids. Fishing can be done at the dock. Rich was an excellent and responsive host. He answered all my questions promptly and helped us literally within minutes when we needed additional info about the area. We definitely would recommend friends to stay at this lovely cottage!

Sarah’s property is one of the most dreamiest places for families. It ticks off so many boxes for everyone in your party. Communication with the host very timely and much appreciated.

This was a lovely private getaway for the family. The kids enjoyed the pool and the bunk beds. Felt very cozy with nice personal touches like bathrobes, loads of clean towels, board games and several kitchen appliances to choose from. House was very clean and kids felt right at home. Thank you for the hospitality!

I went to cottage #1 and really enjoyed the stay there. my dad, my uncle and my 9 year old really like fishing. it's so close to the river and tons of fish. My cousin has a 2 years old and he also enjoyed the stay with the small playground and sand box. everything is clean and new, good air conditioner, all the rooms are in good size. Really enjoyed our stay there. planning a new visit in the coming month. Thank you Paul for the grand family vacation!

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

She was very friendly as we talked to her outside a couple times. Any texts we sent to her, she responded very quickly. It was a great place to stay and easy to get too. This was my second time staying there in a month, and I would definitely stay there again.

I booked Renee’s place last minute because another Airbnb cancelled. I’m so glad we did because this place was beautiful and we had such a wonderful time. Renee was incredibly responsive and kind in all her messages. We bought our two month old and a cot was provided which made our lives easier. The kitchen was also pretty well stoked and the beds were super comfy. I think this is an incredible stay considering how affordable it is. Renee truly saved our holiday. Thank you!

Miranda’s cottage was a great spot for our annual ATV trip. The cottage was very clean and as described. Having a sauna and the ability to swim in the lake was also nice. Look forward to returning to the cottage continuing.

We had a wonderful stay at Sylvia's place ! The accommodation was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and you are surrounded by trees and meadows. We were able to reach all our destinations in Peterborough within 15 minutes. The house had all the amenities that we needed. We would stay there any time again.

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

It was a pleasure staying at Evangeline’s home with my family during our visit to Peterborough. We felt very comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. The house was spotless, well-equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The hosts went above and beyond—especially accommodating our late arrival and ensuring we had essential provisions waiting for us. Their thoughtful touches and warm hospitality made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Can’t say enough good things about the log home. It is a beautifully custom built home on an extremely private and large property. There’s an added pleasure of looking out the windows and seeing families of deer and turkey. The inside is absolutely meticulous and thought out. Everything is where it should be and no clutter whatsoever. The beds are super comfortable and cozy. The decks are spacious. The bathrooms are well stocked and so clean. The master bathroom shower is MASSIVE. We would love to return in the summer months and enjoy the peaceful surrounds and the town of Bobcaygeon as well. All you need to bring is your clothes and some food. The rest is provided for you. Absolutely incredible.

Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. The house was clean and tidy. Good location, easy to get everywhere we needed to go. Allowing us to bring our dog was awesome and there is a huge backyard and walking trails. So many thoughtful touches. And Marilyn was very responsive to anything we needed.

We had the best stay at Sarah’s! The place was even more beautiful than the photos. We felt so comfortable and it was nice to know we would always get a quick response. The place is designed thoughtfully and beautifully and we weren’t want for anything. Would stay again and recommend to anyone! We weren’t two couples, each with a 2.5 year old, and the space was perfect for us.

Robert and Maureen are lovely! Friendly and accommodating, available when you need them, but otherwise we had all the privacy we needed. The space is beautiful with needed for a stay. Although it's physically attached to the main house, it's separated by 2 exterior walls on either side of the entry way, so it's completely quiet and private. We loved our stay and would absolutely book here again.

Is perfect too good a word? Gorgeous space with so much attention to detail. Spent most of the time in the kitchen, watching wildlife thru the floor to ceiling windows. Tatiana was super warm and responsive - especially when a storm knocked power out for a few hours. Loved the stay and we’ll definitely return!

This was our first experience with AirBnB and it was very positive overall. If available will certainly book this one in the summertime to take advantage of the scenic area.
