This vacation dwelling is modern from the outside but inside walls are hand cut logs in most of the house. The original house was built in 1864. It has been up dated with just the right up to date furnishings. The view from the porch is spectacular and the neighborhood is quite. Nestled between the Massanutten Mountains, Edith Guest House provides a base for horseback riding, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, or parasailing activities. The house is furnished with new couches and beds complemented with antiques and art. The kitchen has table service for 8 and sufficient cooking equipment for full meal preparation. We always recommend AWD/4WD for safest access to the property.

Recently remodel by myself the owner (an interior decorator) it mixes Boho Chic/ Farmhouse/Cottage style with the use of wood, color and textures. You will delight in the fact that not only are you in a great location for walking but the experience of staying in the House In Luray is a treat in itself.
