We are from the East Coast and we always stay in Manhattan Beach when we visit our son who is at USC. This is by far the nicest rental we have stayed at. The hosts are extremely helpful and response time was quick . The unit was very clean and comfy. If I had to pick one downfall is I think the kitchen needs a few more pots and pans. Otherwise it’s perfect. The garage is very roomy which is rare in MB You cannot beat the sunset view from the balcony! One block from the beach. We will stay here again next time we visit!

A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

The Cali Blue Bus was the perfect base setup for a weekend music festival I attended. The area was super quiet when I returned each evening. It was a very neat and unique experience for sure. You can hear and see the ocean out of the windows or close the curtains and have plenty of privacy. Would definitely recommend it for people to stay.

Great beach location, very spacious, two private parking spots and walkable to everything in Seal Beach. Each bedroom had a bathroom. The building is a work-in-progress. The amenities (kitchen, bathrooms) are definitely older but everything worked and what was nice were the bed linens and towel. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. There is a laundry room with W/D. Fun family place or for 3 couples!

Our return stay at California Dreamin’ was just as relaxing and fun as our first visit. The home is spacious and comfortable, and is well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked (chocolates and dog treats!) Susan is a responsive and helpful host, and the location is unbeatable—easy walk to beaches and downtown (if you can tear yourself away from the balcony!) We’ll be back again.

Donald's apartment was an excellent home-away-from-home for our six-week stay in LA (helping with new babies). The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and everything worked properly; my husband and I were really able to settle in to the space. Donald was promptly responsive to a couple of minor things that needed attention. The heat worked well (we were there in December/January) and the windows were tight (we evacuated for a few days during the fires, and there was no trace of invasive dust or ash when we returned). The dedicated garage parking space was a definite plus! We enjoyed walking on the Venice Boardwalk and exploring the Venice Canals area, and some local restaurants and shops in the neighborhood that Donald recommended. We would definitely go back to 28 S. Venice Blvd!

We had a wonderful stay. Gorgeous area with a very clean and nice beach (Zero homeless). Super classy area but with the laid back surfer vibe. Airbnb was clean and very cutely decorated. We Felt extremely safe which is important when traveling with two small children! Parking definitely was a challenge but Berit clearly states that in the listing, so no surprise there and we figured it out by parking in the overnight parking by the beach and just added money to the meter right before 8am. would definitely recommend if you are looking for a cute cozy walking distance place to the beach!! oh and we loved the projection TV thing! super cool!

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Unfortunately didn’t get to stay in this exact Airbnb due to a maintenance issue. But Larry did everything he could do to make sure I had appropriate accommodation, was easy to communicate with, and even still gave me access to the sauna and rooftop pool. Thanks for helping me have a great trip Larry!

Melody was a great host. She was responsive and gave tips on how to access her condo with a part of PCH being inaccessible. The place itself was clean and beautiful. Can’t beat the view and falling asleep to the sounds of waves. Parking was a huge plus! Would definitely stay again.

Yese’s place was clean and nicely decorated. She was very accommodating and I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

We really enjoyed staying here! Gorgeous view of palm trees and the ocean plus an added bonus of some incredible people-watching. The unit balcony provides all sorts of entertainment with a beautiful ocean backdrop. It was easy to access everything nearby and we enjoyed spending time at the beach, dog beach, and watching all the activities. Super fun if you like a bustling spot with a great view.

Absolutely gorgeous. Loved hearing the waves crashing at night. Dolphins and seals right in front of the property. Amazing food all around within walking distance. The strand was so cool too. Kristina was an amazing host too. Way above and beyond. Thanks so much!!!

We loved our Manhattan Beach stay! The location is a dream, just a short distance from the beach and convenient to LAX and SoFi Stadium (we were in town for a show). The standout feature is of course the patio, which is so lovely and peaceful. We had all the amenities we needed and more, and Monaka and Kraig were responsive, friendly, and helpful. WiFi on the patio wasn’t strong enough for me to have reliable video calls, so I took those inside—just note there is not an indoor table for working inside. Not a problem since I was only working there for a day and I sat on the comfortable couch. I would definitely stay here again and wish I had been there longer! Kraig helped us with parking which was a huge relief.

First Brian is amazing! Our family stayed at Brian’s beautiful home while in town for our father’s memorial service. Although it was a somber occasion, this serene and welcoming space truly became a source of comfort and connection for all of us. Brian went above and beyond to make our stay special—he was incredibly responsive and made sure that any concerns we had were addressed immediately with care and kindness. The home is exactly as described: serene, peaceful, and filled with thoughtful touches. The tranquil rose garden and cozy outdoor fireplace provided a quiet retreat where we would gather, reflect, and share memories. While we didn’t get the chance to use the many beach amenities provided, the options were there—and we look forward to coming back under happier circumstances. This is more than just a vacation rental—it’s a home filled with warmth and peace. We recommend it every chance we get. Thank you, Brian, for everything. We will be back!

Great host, very responsive and pro-active. Location is really great with sea view. Nice size of bedroom and living area. Nice shower. Bess provided all necessary toiletries, like shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, etc… Furniture are a bit old but it remains comfortable. Cutleries, plates and glasses could be improved. There was only one glass for wine. I was alone, do it was ok, but still… Very happy overall and I am strongly recommending Bess place. Will gladly come back.

Such a peaceful community in such a vibrant place. Close to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica pier. The home and linens were squeaky clean. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The people watching, plane watching, and boat watching provides non stop entertainment. We even saw a sea lion and dolphins. This place is magical and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very comfortable and perfect for our stay. TV options were great for relaxing at night. Mark was very helpful and responded very rapidly to any questions we had. having a designated parking spot was amazing. would definitely stay again.

This is easily the favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Only reason I contemplated leaving a review, is because I don’t want others to fill the slots 😂😂 Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts!

This property is beautiful. This is a good spot if you want somewhere close to the ocean but far enough away from the crowded tourist streets. The house was clean and matched the description and pictures. The 2 car garage is almost essential in Long Beach (coming from a local) and fit a small suv and sedan. The host(s) provided all the information we needed and there were no issues during our stay. We would definitely come back.

As frequent visitors to the area, my wife & I loved the no TV, very private, and serene location of this hidden gem behind a gate in Malibu. We look forward to our next trip & we will definitely try to stay at this Broad Beach home again.
