Just what we needed for a fantastic week in the Peaks, near to so many lovely walks as well as being warm, very clean and well equipped. Extremely good communication from the host before our arrival - including lots of information about the area. Really appreciated all the touches provided to make our stay a home from home, including fresh ground coffee and shower gel. Thank you so much!

Wonderful place, whether you want to relax or explore & go hiking/walking, great base as there's loads of walks/hikes to take direct from the farm, with good boozers/food en route. Everything you need is provided, very peaceful location yet minutes from the town centre, all amenities within walking distance. Definitely recommend a stay & we'll be booking again for sure.

This was our 3rd time at the Shepherds Lodge and once again it was a 5 star stay. Beautiful lodge with amazing views. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a drink and plenty of great walks nearby. Thank you 😊

Good place but not ideal if you have kids especially babies. It’s too cold!!! I’ve been communicating with the host throughout the stay but when I asked about the heating I got no reply and the place was constantly cold. I looked everywhere but couldn’t find a way to turn the heating on so it looks like the heating was being controlled by the host which is not convenient.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

I had the best staycation with a few friends. Had a lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, which made everything super easy. Would definitely stay again!
