Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire chez Helena. L’environnement est tout simplement incroyable élan derrière le chalet, loutres, aigles, grues cendrées, dauphins autour du canoë, une hermine pendant les balades. Bref une nature sauvage et grandiose. Une vue magnifique depuis le chalet. Le ponton pour descendre au bord du fjord, trop beau. De superbes randonnées autour dans les Vesterålen. Le chalet est confortable. La fenêtre du salon permet de profiter de la vue par tout les temps. Je recommande +++

We spent three wonderful days on Skogsøya. The house, although not traditional in style, was superbly positioned overlooking the sea and the neighbouring islands. The huge picture windows give an ever changing view that in real life are much better than the photos. We walked the coast road and several of the footpaths some of which climb hills behind the house and offer views over Vesterålen. You can hike to the north coast, but it gets very boggy beyond the big lake. Check the ferry timetable before travelling and if you arrive on a Sunday remember to do your shopping the day before! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in Anders place on this magical island.

Wir können uns den guten Bewertungen der anderen Gäste nur anschließen. Das Ferienhäuschen ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und richtig kuschelig, Wohlfühlfaktor sehr hoch. Haus komplett ausgestattet, es ist tatsächlich alles vorhanden. Tolle Küche lädt zum Kochen ein, die Kaffeemaschine macht einen excellenten Kaffee, es macht Spaß auch im Haus nur zu verweilen, ausreichend Platz, großer Esstisch, Kamin, so schön wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben in unseren Urlauben selten so gut geschlafen, sehr komfortable Betten. Alles sehr sauber. Eine ideale Lage für Naturverbundene, sehr ruhig und doch sehr nah zum Tanken, Laden und Einkaufen in Sortland. Ganz zentral um Vesteralen zu erkunden. Nah am See, bei klarem Himmel ein wunderschönes Bergpanorama. Bei Therese und Ron verbrachten wir trotz des schlechten Wetters 4 wunderschöne Wintermärchen Tage, man würde am liebsten bleiben. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen, ist bestimmt eine der besten. Danke für die liebevolle Betreuung!

Gastgeber:Freundlich, geduldig, hilfsbereit. Unterkunft: ein wunderschönes Haus, mit einer privaten Straße und Grundstück. Ein toller Ausblick, ob Wohnzimmer oder Schlafzimmer/Bad. Würde gerne wiederkommen. Hunde waren auch kein Problem gewesen. Vor dem Haus kann man auch angeln 🎣 . Da es die ganze Zeit geschneit hat (Anfang/Mitte April), wurde uns sogar von „den Nachbarn?“ die privat Straße bis zu der Einfahrt frei gemacht.

Mine bedsteforældre boede i huset i tre uger, og de var super tilfredse! De så nordlys flere gange, og nød de smukke omgivelser omkring huset! Alt i huset var som det skulle være - og de kommer gerne igen!

This cozy cottage was a wonderful home for us on the Vesteralen Islands! The house has all you need to cook and relax. The views from all the windows are breathtaking - looking right at the fjord. I think we took 20 photos out the same living room window, each with different weather , yet all on the same day! We felt it could be a home you could spend days and even months just looking out the windows! Hanne and Kristian are communicative and quick to respond. They also helped with recommendations for hikes and things to do. Food shopping and more can be found in Myre, a 15-min drive away. A clear recommendation for any couples/families looking for a nice base to explore the Vesteralen.

Vi koste oss så mye her at vi ble en ekstra natt. Et nydelig, lunt, hjemmekoselig hjem som tilfredsstiller den estetiske sansen. Hjemmet var godt utstyrt med alt en måtte trenge. Området er veldig vakkert, man er tett på naturen og kan gå fine turer både rett fra huset og med en kort kjøretur. Tusen takk for en nydelig opplevelse!

Beautiful cabin right on the water - totally idyllic - we had a fantastic time and the sauna is also lovely. Even saw the northern lights from the front deck and can swim (although it’s cold in October!) in the lake in front. Not a problem at all for us - but for people who may be disabled please note there is a steep walk down from the road through an uneven trail in the forest. Would advise to bring a head torch to come up/down after sunset. The shower is a pump shower which you put in a bucket of warm water from the tap - we got used to it quickly. Kari is lovely and met us at the road to bring us down to the cabin and took the time to give us great recommendations - thank you for your hospitality!
