The guest accommodation is private & comprises one half of the restored farmhouse. Featuring a bedroom with king sized bed, a well appointed kitchen & bathroom and a living area with a double sofa bed. There is a private terrace with views across treetops & the winding river; which reaches the sea a few km downstream at the award winning beach of Odeceixe.

Welcome to Quinta Carapeto ! You will stay in a traditional rammed Earth house (80qm) with great views into the valley with a distance sea view on a clear day. Its been used as a barn ans was newly renovated in 2017, we kept part of its origianally rustic charme. It's 15km to the coast line with its beautiful beaches. A spacious living room with a wood burner and an extra loft space with a single bed and meditation mat and pillow. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms with a double bed each.

As lovers of local traditions, we maintained the original architecture, enriching the space with eclectic furniture! The property has two completely independent houses.

Beautiful self-built ecological house by the river

This amazing home-made house is newly renovated and located on our small farm where we grow vegetables and fruit trees. The house is made out of rammed earth and stones, placed just a few meters from the gorgeous river of Seixe, surrounded by green hills and fields. The valley is very calm and full of animals such as cows, horses, goats, donkeys, pigs & sheep. In the hot days you can take a cooling dip in the river or visit the amazing beach only 6 km away!
