Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. A home away from home! The cottage is lovely, cosy, and clean with plenty of space as a family of 6 and a dog. Giles was really helpful and we loved all the local recommendations and walks. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to return next year!

Our stay was fantastic! Our hosts were very friendly and easy going! We were able to take our little ones and watch the cows being milked and taken out to the fields. The area is very peaceful, and a perfect place to star gaze. This is a great central location to be able to explore the many areas in southwest Ireland!

Kayleigh and Sue were super friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. This cottage is great for a family get together like ours. We had a family wedding in York and drove in on Saturday but on Sunday we used the park and ride which was perfect. Did some sightseeing in the area and had the cottage to relax at in the evening. It was peaceful and beautiful. Just perfect and highly recommended. Thank you Sue and Kayleigh

We stayed at Annie’s place for two nights while we were hiking part of the South West Coast Path with our two border collies. We were able to hike in off the path and then get back onto the path the next day fairly easily. The accommodation was lovely, plenty of space and everything we needed to prepare our meals. Very comfortable and peaceful which meant two good nights of sleep. The spa was excellent and an added bonus for tired legs. We were given good directions to get to the local village (Hartland) and were able to walk there for a great dinner at a local pub. I highly recommend Annie as a host!

Lovely place for a family holiday or a stay with friends. A nice kitchen, great dining room and cosy living room. Grand playroom for the kids and horses to feed in the fields. A great experience!

We loved our stay at Sandra's place, it is in a beautiful spot with tonnes of places to visit on your doorstep. Sandra was so friendly and helpful with local recommendations and even some tasty cookies and some eggs from the farm when we arrived. We loved our stay, thank you for having us!

We stayed at Greta’s place for one night while traveling through, and it was the perfect spot! We loved seeing all of the animals, Gretta and her husband were so friendly, and coffee was in the cabinet and available to make in the morning! We loved our night here!

Nanna’s place is, somehow, just as peaceful and picturesque as depicted. It was such a treat to spend a happy morning hour wandering the farm with the engaging, friendly host Nanna to meet and learn about the sheep (and lambs!), turkeys, chickens and geese/ducks and her experiences raising them. It was especially lovely getting to meet the same hens that produced those eggs that have such vivid orange yolks and taste just as beautiful. This stay offered some of best of what AirBnB provides…an opportunity to connect and to learn while traveling. Would absolutely return!!

Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

An amazing find! We were a group of 8 adults and 2 children and our only complaint was that we didn’t want to leave. Hosts were communicative before our stay and answered any questions we had. The house was clean and really beautiful. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked with lovely toiletries. The living room has a huge TV which is perfect for a rainy day. Beds all very comfortable and wifi good. The garden pod was well-equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was fab and robes were available for everyone. I’d recommend bringing flip flops and a torch if you’re getting in and out at night. We’re animal lovers so being ‘on the farm’ was brilliant. We can’t say enough about Gary the farmer who checks in twice a day for the animals - he was so friendly and patient with the children, plus he had loads of local recommendations. Overall just a top guy - thank you Gary! Best summed up by my niece calling it ‘the best place ever!’ - we will be back. 😊

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay of 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was really enjoyable spending time in such a spacious, tranquille space, in excellent condition, thoughtfully decorated, so well furnished and equipped, and needless to say spotlessly clean. It was a fantastic first experience also for my son to feed the checking, and collect and eat their eggs. Thank you for welcoming us.

Tracy was such a lovely host from the moment my husband & I arrived, to showing us around and a really friendly chat to make us feel right at home. This place is absolutely stunning! What a beautiful place that can’t quite be captured in photos it is just so peaceful and lovely and private the garden was in beautiful condition and maintained so beautifully we cannot wait to come back!! They were very helpful with any questions as well as allowing a later checkout when we requested it was just perfect and a beautiful place to wake up in for my 30th! Balloons and fresh baked bread on arrival were also lovely and delicious !! Definitely recommend.

We had a really lovely stay in this beautiful place! Ruth and Jeff were kind and communicative with us and kindly made timings very flexible for us during our check in and check out. They kindly left us some kitchen bits, including eggs and bread so we could make a little breakfast in the mornings whilst sitting out with coffee/tea they had also provided. Hot tub was a great addition! a very quirky and clever set up! We thoroughly enjoyed! It is just what is described

Lovely private and quiet stay in Connemara. Terry is a lovely host. Generous and responsive. If you have your own transport this is a perfect place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet and having your own little apartment.

Arglam Farm, what a find! Sally and Andrea have a super self catering accommodation. Absolutely spotless, perfectly presented. A fabulous view, ample parking. Thoughtful additions to help your trip go well. Dog friendly, kid friendly. We attended a family wedding at Everingham Park and this house was a fabulous base for our family to relax and get ready for the wedding. Market Weighton for last minute essentials and a trip to fabulous Beverly. We must stay longer next time in this fantastic corner of Yorkshire.

We really enjoyed our Easter week stay at the The Long Stable. Andrew and his wife were very welcoming and supportive hosts. The location is idyllic, very quiet and private, even if other farm buildings are nearby you won‘t be disturbed and can make the most of the huge terrace. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and everything is to a high standard. All mod cons are available and the kitchen is fully equipped so wie could enjoy cooking ourselves as well as trying out some of the many pubs and restaurants within easy reach by car. You can stroll around the farm or nearby woods at your leisure, we particulary enjoyed saying hello to the newborn lambs one of which we were allowed to feed as well. The farm is ideally located to visit the coast (recommending Rye Harbour Nature Reserve), National Trust Sites like Sissinghurst or Bateman or simply enjoy the countryside…you really are spoilt for choice. We highly recommend The Long Stable and would love to return for a longer stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights in this charming barn conversion, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The location is wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The facilities were top-notch and eco-conscious, which I truly appreciated. Penny, the host, was friendly and attentive. When I encountered a minor issue upon arrival, she resolved it quickly and with genuine apologies, ensuring my stay was comfortable from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Such a peaceful, cosy cabin with wonderful views! If you’re lucky enough to get some sun- you’ll see exactly why it’s called Sunset Lodge! Great location. My children loved the little play area next to the cow paddock and also loved watching the sheep. Check in was super easy and host “left us to it” which is great if you’re busy exploring Cornwall! Would definitely stay again

Beautiful home in a farmland . We were six people on the way to stockholm . Beautiful farmland surroundings,though no animals present.But loved the lovely cat passing by . Place had all amenities plus an electric charging station for car. Host was super responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.
