Such a stunning tranquil location. Peaceful and beautiful. Everything needed for the four night stay we had but equally for a longer stay. Fitted to a high standard. Great communication from Nicola. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

truly a home from home it has every thing from airfryer to washing machine. Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

We cannot fault our stay here, it did exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet in an amazing location and the animals sealed the deal. Arnie was amazing and took time to explain about all the animals and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be coming back when the animals are roaming. I miss the cats already!!

We all had a lovely stay with Pete and Sue. The annexe was spacious and perfect for a group of 4! It was extremely homely and comfortable, you can’t fault it! We were very well welcomed by Milo who was a real character😅! They had great recommendations for the area which was stunning! It was easy to locate and had no trouble at all! Hugely appreciated their hospitality and was definitely worth the visit. We hope to come back to the area soon!😁

Fabulous 3 night stay as a family of 6. Cottage is bigger than it appears in the photos, plenty of room for all of us. Really well equipped, great shower, wonderful location, lots of charm. Children loved the cats that came to visit and looking out on the horses. Dermot and Anne were lovely hosts, really friendly and gave us useful local information along with breakfast items, tea coffee etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again. An absolute gem. Sophie and Joe were amazing hosts, and we enjoyed every second of it, from the welcome hamper, the cosy interior and the friendly environment! It was the perfect places to celebrate our anniversary and in a great location to feel out of the city/town and with nature but also close to Warwick town centre, Leamington spa and Stratford-apon-Avon if you were wanted to do any shopping, historic visits or go out for brunch/coffee/ or dinner! I would highly recommend them not just for the place but for the people as well!

Lovely remote stay, good hosts who accepted on the day and promptly sent check in info, very clean and peaceful. Bed is a touch on the smaller size if bigger/tall but overall a comfortable stay and well presented, reccomended if ever need a stop in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The place was really clean, well thought out with everything you need for your stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have an enjoyable break exploring with their four legged friends!! 🐾

We had a wonderful stay at the Annex and only wish we could have stayed longer! The accommodation was perfect for us to have a girly catch up. It was clean and homely and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome hamper and milk! The gardens are stunning - we spent a long time enjoying them and feeding the duck and gorgeous ducklings. Joanne also let us give their tortoise breakfast which was great fun. Gerry and Joanne are brilliant hosts, friendly and easy going and forthcoming with information. We really hope to stay again soon. Thank you!

Although we came to the area to attend my brother’s funeral we felt very relaxed.

Second overnight stay at Lottie’s beautiful Airbnb! The accommodation was spotless and so welcoming after our long 5 hour drive. There was classical music playing as we entered which was a lovely extra touch (also our favourite music channel!) Will definitely be staying again in the future. Thanks Lottie.

Once again had a lovely stay in Tracey’s garden annex As always everything first class ! Tracey is a very approachable lady and responsive and friendly. Lovely stay in Darley Bridge courtesy of Claire, great location to discover the Peak District, fab local walks and pubs. Visited the Three Stags for excellent food, well worth a visit. Other visits to Bakewell, Chatsworth and the Monsall Trail. A lovely stay, very relaxing.

This was a wonderful stay. One we definitely did not want to end. The pictures did not do any justice to this beautiful lodge. From the beautiful well maintained garden to the stunning well hygiened lodge. The cleanliness of the barn made us feel very much at home. The cherry on top was the kindness and warm hospitality that Andy provided us with. We walked in to a beautiful set up of welcome snacks as well as his presence of being there to reassure us of any doubts. He was very responsive and friendly. This topped our stay. Thank You Andy. We will definitely be visiting again.

I had an eight-week stay in the middle of a house move and it was very modern and well-equipped, spotlessly clean with ample space and facilities. It's in a pleasant, peaceful semirural location which I knew before I chose it and road and rail connections are easily accessible as is a very decent choice of local restaurants and takeaways. There's fast fibre broadband for work or leisure, (plenty of options for streaming on the TV), good cellular reception, plus off-street parking right outside the front door. And Kerry and Declan were every bit as welcoming and helpful as others have said. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from a wonderful couple of days away at Jenny’s place, I booked very last min and Jenny couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming, the welcome pack she emailed out told us everything we needed to know, she left us some presseco in the fridge as it was my husbands 40th the day we arrived which was so kind. The place itself is fantastic, we had all the room we needed and came and went at our leisure, the area itself is outstanding! My husband is an amputee and we tackled some of the local hills (black rock) unfortunately on the day we were due to leave my husband was in a bit of pain after all the walking, I messaged Jenny and asked for a slightly later checkout so he could take his time which she was happy to help us with and it was so much appreciated. Thank you so much Jenny, we would love to come back sometime, for our first air B&B experience I’m so glad we found you! I couldn’t recommend enough xx

Wow what a place, was absolutely perfect, stayed with my girlfriend for a night and was a brilliant, peaceful and romantic evening, wouldn’t change a thing

A lovely little property with a warm welcome & everything you need. Very impressed! Will be booking again for our next trip to Thomas the Tank World & maybe stay longer as looks like lots of other things to do in the area

The whole place was spotlessly clean and everything supplied was of a high standard. The eggs, bacon, bread, orange, milk and butter along with tea, coffee , biscuits and cereal provided meant we didn’t have to nip out to the shops to buy anything or bring those items with us. We enjoyed the whirlpool bath and the log burner in the evening and loved all the attention to detail with the lighting . The view was beautiful and garden and outdoor seating were an added feature. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

Very well kept, no issues with check-in and host very responsive. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed as a family of 5 along with 7 dogs at Derwent Cottage. Joanne and Tim were very understanding about hosting our furry babies with last minute notice! (Thank you!) It is situated in a peaceful, picturesque location with fields beside the property and to the back to walk the dogs next to Carsington water. The cottage was beautifully cleaned and lovingly decorated. We felt at home straight away, especially with the lovely long burner! The games room was fantastic. We loved going in there in the evening- lots of fun! Especially for our little one! Tim welcomed us when we arrived, he is so friendly, attentive and and happy to provide lots of information. The only thing we’d mention is that the stair gate wasn’t very secure and we couldn’t see Carsington Water from the cottage. We all loved our stay here and we will definitely be recommending Stainsborough Hall to family and friends. Thank you very much.
