Loved everything about “Samar” house. The decor is very well done with lots of local elements. The cave aspect is really different and it is hard to put into words how great the view over the city and plain from the terrace is, a real privilege. Location wise then I did wonder if getting to and from the town centre would be hard work but it was fine and it turned out that the local neighbourhood on the hillside was a lovely area to explore too. We walked from the house to Alhambra and saw lots of interesting bits and pieces on the way though it does involve going down and then up to the palace. Antonio was very helpful and responsive, previous guests had turned off some heaters in the house but it was solved immediately.

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommend! I had a wonderful stay at The Cozy Beach House in Dahab. The apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking — right on the beach, with the sea just steps away. It was such a peaceful experience to wake up and have coffee with the sound of the waves. Rasha was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout — a fantastic host. The location is ideal: just a short walk to great cafes and restaurants, yet still quiet and relaxing. You can swim or snorkel right in front of the house, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this place is a gem. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beachfront escape in Dahab.

This host made us feel like family. The home was spotless and absolutely adorable. The view is amazing and so were the hosts. Could not asked for a better place to stay.

Stayed in the cave during our honeymoon and it was honestly one of our favorite stops! Nantia was so sweet and helpful, she provided us with great recommendations for the area. The village is so beautiful and peaceful as well. Everything about the cave exceeded our expectations. Stay here, you will not regret it!!!

Wonderful and unique stay right in the middle of Oia. The space is private and very cool, with a great plunge pool and fresh bread delivered each morning. The hosts are very responsive and helpful, including arranging transportation to/from the port and airport and providing local recommendations. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a special and central stay in Oia.

We thank Iballa! The house is magnificent! Great view from the terrace, beautiful living room in the cave. Well equipped kitchen and shower. Large bedroom. The drive to any part of the island took 1 hour. Mountain trails pass near the house. We had a wonderful holiday!

Nikolaos's place has a huge potential; it's a cutest old little house with an astounding view and a quiet beautiful beach 2 min drive away; it's situated in a very quiet zone of the island and it's bright and airy. Host is helpful and always keen to help!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Tag eins an super wohl gefühlt! Alles ist sauber und die Anlage sehr schön gestaltet! Vor allem die Gastgeberin Helen war uns mit ihren schnellen Antworten uns tollen Tips eine große Hilfe!

Todo estaba bien , nos explicó la llegada así que bien , si sigues las instrucciones , lo único que hay que tener cuidado con las calles estrechas pero es fácil llegar

We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful cave. The atmosphere was very cozy and Lieve was a very gracious hostess. We spent the days exploring the Gor area, where there is many beautiful hikes and unique sightings. The afternoons and evenings was spent in front of the fireplace. Very relaxing stay, we will definitely be back.

Nuestra experiencia en el alojamiento fue excelente! Desde el momento en que llegamos, el trato fue excepcional; Nikolas fue siempre atento y estuvo dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo. El desayuno fue una grata sorpresa: delicioso y perfectamente servido, una manera genial de empezar el día. Todos en nuestro grupo quedamos muy felices y agradecidos por la hospitalida. Sin duda, un lugar al que esperamos volver. ¡Gracias por hacer de nuestra estancia algo tan especial!

Athina nous a chaleureusement accueilli dans les villas à l'emplacement unique avec sa vue sur la crique de Porto Limnionas. Vous serez très bien accueillis dans la taverne tenue par la famille d'Athina au pied de la villa qui permet de ne pas avoir besoin de prendre sa voiture malgré l'emplacement unique et assez isolé.

Πανέμορφη μικρή σπηλιτσα για διακοπές σε ησυχαστήριο. Το κατάλυμα ξεπέρασε τος προσδοκίες μου, η Claire μάς υποδέχτηκε αυτοπροσώπως και ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμη για ερωτήσεις και παραπάνω από πρόθυμη να βοηθήσει. Η ιδιωτική βεράντα ήταν το κάτι άλλο για μας καθώς ταξιδέψαμε με σκύλο. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

We had a lovely week staying in the Cave of the Cat. Once we got there, it was very peaceful, the view was amazing, and Juan Carlos very friendly and helpful. We recommend that someone in couple who rents be a very good driver as the property is down a very steep road and up a driveway. In general, the roads on that part of Gran Canaria require a solid driver, but the natural beauty and peace are worth the effort. There are local restaurants and shops nearby. One of the best parts of this part of the island is very few people who aren't residents, so you really get to experience the community. We ate at home all of the nights as it was a lovely spot and the kitchen was very accessible. A very nice location for a real getaway.

Liebe Jana,lieber Jaime, es war sooo schön bei euch.Ihr seid wunderbare Gastgeber und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.Die Wohnung ist so aussergewöhnlich, es macht wirklich Freude bei Euch zu wohnen.Von den Leckereien und dem Zitronenbaum mal ganz abgesehen.... Man braucht ein Auto und gute Nerven für die Serpentinen, aber das erklärt sich von selbst.Nach zahlreichen Ausflügen auf der Insel war es immer etwas besonderes zurück in euer Haus zu kommen. Gerne wieder Alles Gute und bleibt gesund

Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, hemos estado a gusto en la cueva,tranquilidad y desconexion.

Maison très typique et familiale. Nous vivons à l’intérieur-extérieur dans toutes les pièces ! Et que dire de la vue ? Splendide ! Bien placée lorsque l’on veut s’éloigner des zones touristiques et profiter du calme et de la montagne. Un super séjour !

Fantastic cave house 💖 Home was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. Also has lovely garden/patio area. Area is beautiful and host was very helpful - gave clear instructions to find place, supplied firewood and did our laundry. would stay agian. Hard to fault anything - could be improved but a curtain/door through passage to bedroom for more privacy. If your tall you might find low passage to shower difficult but was not a problem for us.

She accepted our request at last minutes And everything was perfect expect toilet seat was not clean but rest everything was perfect and we had no issue there was no electricity from 9am -10:30 am and then at 11 am checkout time electricity again turned off so make sure to pack your stuff exactly before check out time

Ein extrem schönes architektonisches Highlight! Wir kamen zu später Stunde vom Flughafen Catania in Modica an, wurden an verabredeter Stelle abgeholt und zum nahbei gelegenen Parkplatz gelotst. Anschließend brachte Caterina uns zum Haus und wies uns kurz ein. Der Tisch in der Küche war bereits gedeckt, Wein, allerlei Köstlichkeiten, Olivenöl, Pasta und Tomatensoße, wir fühlten uns gleich wie zu Hause. So komfortabel und schick hat man in einer Höhle noch nie gewohnt! Modica ist ein perfekter Ort, um die Kultur des Landes zu erkunden, Sehenswürdigkeiten genauso wie eindrucksvolle Landschaften. Ein absolutes Highlight waren die Festlichkeiten zu Karfreitag und Ostern. Caterina hatte viele Geheimtipps, tolle Restaurants, einen super Guide für den Ätna (absolute Empfehlung!), sie war immer erreichbar, und hat uns sehr geholfen. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Was man außerhalb der sehr heißen Jahreszeit eventuell wissen sollte: Es ist nicht ungünstig, ein paar Hausschuhe einzupacken…

Staying here was truly a magical experience. Our hosts were absolutely lovely—so kind, welcoming, and full of fascinating stories. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, and their knowledge of the area brought everything to life. The caves were something out of a fairytale—each one unique, with its own history and atmosphere. You could feel the character and stories etched into the stone. It’s rare to find a place that’s both peaceful and awe-inspiring, but this is exactly that. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful hosts for sharing this special place with us.
