Curtis is less than 5 miles. Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Dollar General located half a mile away, and only a 5-10 minute drive into town for more (gas, groceries, and restaurants).

Marie, Munising, Grand Marias, Kitch-iti-kipi "natural spring" and less to Upper Tahquamenon Falls brewery and Lower falls, Paradise shipwreck museum and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Home is fully stocked with all the essentials and more including games and boot dryers.

Accessible from a private, dirt road, Hidden Falls feels like a little slice of Heaven in the middle of nowhere, all while being just miles north of Newberry, MI and 90 minutes from the Mackinac Bridge. State trails are accessible across the street from the cabin itself. No need to drive to hit the trails!

Great location for snowmobilers! the trail is 2 blks away from our cozy rustic two-bedroom home in the village. A great home base for adventure in any direction. Tahquamenon falls, whitefish point lighthouse and shipwreck museum, pictured rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi (the big spring, Oswald's bear ranch, sault Sainte Marie, Mackinac Island. or many other things along the shoreline or The UP has to adventure.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
