Cozy Farmstead Cottage Getaway

The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Our cozy cottage on the banks of the Willow River is ideally situated for enjoying the Willow River State Park experience while enjoying the comforts of home. Willow Falls is a short walk, and the main entrance is one mile from the front door. The cottage has a unique walk-in shower, luxurious tub, and full kitchen for your own use. The main master bedroom has a queen bed, barnboard walls, large windows, access to back deck & outdoor hottub. Two twin beds in front room sleep 2.

The property sits on a lagoon that is currently separated from the lake due to low water levels. The lagoon is suitable for kayaking, pedal boating and fishing, but not swimming. This was originally a working dairy farm and we are the 4th generation owners. Step into some history and charm with this updated nostalgic home. Main level full bathroom has been completely redone. Sit on the back porch and relax or take a 5 minute drive to historic Stillwater or Hudson and everything the St. Croix Valley has to offer!
