Priscilla's place: top 3 of all the Air BnB's we've stayed! We made a day trip that turned into a spontaneous overnight, and despite the late notice, everything was perfect. Priscilla did a great job of communicating. This stay was literally perfect! It was easy to get to, and the setting is STUNNING! The views of the Sound from the backyard are amazing! Totally enjoyed breakfast on the deck with that view! The place itself is adorable, so well thought out, and spotless! They have thought of everything: the banana bread snack upon our arrival, beach towels for the hot tub right outside our door, breakfast (egg casserole and cheese & grits - which my husband normally doesn't touch, but Priscilla's recipe made him a fan!), water in the mini fridge, luggage storage space, a soaking tub, & lots of reading material! One of my favorite moments: starting the a.m. in the hot tub w/one of the feral cats watching over us from the tree! So glad we're only a short drive away to come back!

This home was perfect for our holiday travels! The host NyKedtra was very friendly and helpful during our stay! If you love the country this is the home for you!!!! Very peaceful, very quiet, and felt very safe in the area!!! We loved the stay and the other host came to help us with some things and she was very polite and made us feel right at home!!!!! We definitely will stay again if we are in the area!!!!

The lighthouse is a great place to stay feels like home Janet is a fantastic host. Love the treats she leaves us between the cookies and turnovers too the fruit always a great stay.

Stop scrolling through reviews and book this vacation home! Our family (including our 1 year old son) enjoyed every amenity this place had to offer. Fun outdoor area, comfortable beds, efficient kitchen and relaxing front porch! We enjoyed taking golf cart rides down to the bridge to feed the turtles. Both Haylee and Alex were extremely responsive with any question we had. The only thing that was a bummer, was leaving the “Endless Summer.”

We really enjoyed staying here. It felt like home to us. Very spacious home. Definitely worth it. We will be staying here again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It was just as pictured & as we all know pictures can be deceiving. Erik was great at communication from the moment we booked to even after our departure to ensure everything went smoothly. We loved how close it was to the beach, local restaurants & it was amazing riding around on the golf cart to catch the sunset at the beach. We will def be back and couldn’t have asked for a better time! We even enjoyed a sunset dinner on the back deck and the weather was perfect!

Had a wonderful stay at Libbie's home. Enjoyed our conversations regarding the area, family, and travels around the world. Libbie had some very interesting stories which I truly enjoyed. She was very cordial, and I would recommend her home for a stay to anyone visiting the area.

What a wonderful stay in Surf City! This place was perfect for our family of 4 and my sister and her bf. The proximity to the beach with kids was incredible, the house was so clean and Lindsay was extremely responsive and helpful! We booked this stay very last minute and I felt a little worried considering some reviews said it wasn’t clean and there were bugs. I can tell you first hand we did not feel those reviews reflected this beautiful airbnb. It was spotless, the furniture and decorations were so tasteful and we didn’t have any issues with bugs. We hope to come back and stay here again in the very near future! Thanks for such a great stay!

Don’t hesitate to stay here! Such a picturesque bed and breakfast. The owner John was beyond friendly and accommodating. He was happy to make it feel just like home. The rooms were charming, comfortable, spotless, and guaranteed good nights rest. I stayed in the Wooten room and it was perfect for one traveler. Not only was the atmosphere and service wonderful, the food was INCREDIBLE. John is a hell of a cook and makes the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted with his secret ingredient! I also have a gluten allergy and he went above and beyond to provide! Freshly baked waffles with strawberries and syrup one morning, and a DECADENT cinnamon coffee cake….even packed me a piece to hit the road with! Coffee was also perfectly brewed which is a must for this caffeine addict. Book! Book! Book! Cannot wait for my return trip to new bern! Thank you John!

Staying at Phoebe’s was amazing! Me and some friends came for a short girls trip and she was so sweet to make us breakfast when we requested and gave us directions and suggestions for beaches, shops, restaurants, and activities! We also came at the perfect time as she invited us to attend a sea turtle release with her which only happens once a year! The space was super cozy and felt like home. If I ever come back to this area of NC I definitely want to stay with her!

Donna and John have a lovely home that is very comfortable and welcoming! The location is absolutely perfect set amongst the surrounding historic Beaufort neighborhood and a very short walking distance to the downtown waterfront. We stayed in the Queen Ann room which is a bright tastefully appointed relaxing space, with the bonus of an ensuite jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Breakfast was first class! Donna is a wonderful cook and she graciously accommodated our vegetarian preference. Both Donna and John are warm people who make you feel right at home! We definitely plan to return :)

Our family really enjoyed our time at Meadows Inn. Our stay was truly every thing I could have ask for. Not only is it perfectly located, providing amazing access to downtown New Bern, but our outstanding host really made our trip. Her kindness and hospitality was on full display. Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. We look forward to returning to New Bern soon and staying here again in the future.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen und überaus geschmackvoll und mit Liebe fürs Detail eingerichteten Unterkunft sehr genossen! Das Haus liegt wunderschön ruhig und gleichzeitig sehr günstig für Ausflüge in der Umgebung und an die fantastische Küste. Besonders idyllisch war es, am Morgen die Schafe und anderen Tiere vor dem Fenster zu hören und zu sehen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

I would say he undercharged us for the accomodations! We decided to make this trip fairly last minute, and arrived way later than hoped for (after 2AM). He sent us specific instructions via the app on how to get in, and they were very easy to follow. There was another family/couple (not certain which) staying in the second bedroom, which was far enough away it was essentially it's own area. The shared common area is huge, with two tv's, a well-stocked kitchen, and so many things to look at on the walls! The other family was quiet, and hopefully we were just as quiet and respectful towards them. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for years! Wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to get back up north. Only 10 minutes from the beach - we spent most of our time at the beach, but ate breakfast at a location within easy walking distance, and it looks like there were a number of choices. And I'm sure Richard would have given us a suggestion if we asked. 10/10
