Roman and Julia were amazing hosts! We had some unforeseen circumstances with our previous AirBnB house and Roman was kind enough to allow us to check in early at his Lake house with little notice. The house was warm and welcoming. Julia was helpful in showing us where the pool was located and even allowed us to enjoy our stay longer than we planned. Their hospitality really elevated our stay and allowed us to enjoy our relaxing vacation with our family.

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! Thank you Bob & Julie!!

Thanks for the host making this place like home. Furnitures are well organized. My partner and I love the sofa in the living room. There is a big sofa and single arm chair sofa. It’s good for staying with partner to kiss cuddle and more. We love the well organized kitchen. Very well-equipped. They even have some stock of food, coffee and tea bags just in case if you are hungry in mid night. We came here for skiing trip. It’s just 15 min to Mt Snow, 1.5h to Okemo. Stratton is also around this area. Great location for mountain staycation.

We had a fantastic time at Doug’s place. This is our second stay with one of his properties and they have both been amazing. The amenities, house, and yard were clean and well kept. The fenced in yard was awesome. It was such a relaxing trip and you can tell how much Doug values keeping his properties in pristine condition. We and our dogs had a wonderful time there and can’t wait to come back again.

We had a great stay! The house was stunning, close to the beach and the boardwalk. Mike met us at the house and showed us the house and the surroundings. We left a cell phone at house and checked prior to realizing it was still in there. Mike was actually out of the country and was doing his best to get the cell phone mailed to us. Much appreciated! Would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect getaway to relax and reconnect as a family.

Lockwood Lodge is a beautiful and peaceful place in a perfect location. Our families loved watching the snow come down from the big windows, the view is spectacular. Our kids loved the vintage video game consoles, the grownups loved the records and games/puzzles, and we all felt right at home in the lovely house. It was a perfect spot to hunker down in the snow storm. Jeremy was incredibly responsive and thoughtful and did much to make sure our stay was perfect. We hope to visit again in the summer to take advantage of the pool, which must be really special against the backdrop of that view.

Everything was amazing! The house is bigger than it looks in pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bedrooms are spacious and everything was super clean, I really enjoyed my stay here
