Welcome to Frog Stomp. It's a private guest house nestled in the woods. We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. So if you are scared of little tiny frogs, this is not the place for you.🐸Frog Stomp is 1BR 1BA. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, and kurieg coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower. Our cozy cabin is a tiny house with all the comforts . We have WiFi, satellite TV, a bedroom, 1bed plus “* a sleeping loft with a full size sleeping pad, bathroom, and full kitchen minus oven. It’s one of 4 cabins . It is located on our gated and fenced-in, small hobby farm between Haleyville and Bear Creek, Alabama. Direct access to the river allows you to head north and explore deep into Bankhead Forrest or head south to Smith Lake. Backed up to a rock bluff with a natural spring, there is a seating area with a firepit that provides a serene escape to nature or use the deck for cooking and river views. It's designed to allow you to fully experience nature, while also having comforts of home!

Hand built construction by Mark who felled each tree from our own land and built this cabin literally with his own two hands. The wrap around deck we call "Sally's Deck". Hurricane Sally provided the wood when she deposited a pile of docks on our Ft Morgan property. The natural wood interior is lovely! One of a kind!
