We are on Capitol Hill, a short walk to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and the National Mall with its iconic memorials, Smithsonian Museums and National Gallery of Art. Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. There are 2 full flights of stairs to enter the unit--we only recommend this space for those with healthy knees that do not travel with large suitcases. The altitude of the home means extra light, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and beautiful Capitol views several months of the year!
