Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Chalet for our anniversary. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our weekend special. When we first checked in, there was soft music playing and mood lighting, making the cabin feel warm and cozy. They kindly provided us with a flower bouquet, an anniversary cake, treats, and wine. Feras wrote us an anniversary card that was personally addressed to me and my boyfriend; he had clearly read our reservation request closely and had thoughtfully curated our experience accordingly. Ultimately, we had a great stay and we would love to go back in the future.

This is a beautiful home that is very well maintained and cared for. Alexa's cabin was a great place for 5 of us to gather, relax, and enjoy. Kitchen has everything you need, the hot tub is fantastic during a spring snowstorm, the beds were very comfortable, and it provided ample space for us.

Smitten far exceeded my wife and I's expectations. Working around Boston often has us looking for a nature escape and Peters property delivered and then some. The first thing we noticed was the overwhelming quiet. The cabin was borderline luxurious for its class and took care of every need we had. Restaurants and shops within 30 minutes. Peter responded to our every request within minutes. The wood fired hot tub was a special treat. The composting toilet takes some getting used to but we did feel like everything was very clean. Already fantasizing about coming back! Thank you Peter and Toby!

If you're looking for a place to stay in Maine to just reset, write, spend time with family look no further. The experience here was wonderful to the point I will absolutely be booking again. I loved the way this home was decorated to match the vibe of the area. everything was clean and accommodating. The owners definitely cater the experience based on what's best for the renter. It was the subtle things that really made the experience. All in all highly recommend! Thank you again to the owners!

We loved our stay! We went in the off season from skiing and it was beautiful and peaceful. We were able to relax, there is good food nearby and awesome hikes. The cabin was very clean and well maintained and Carly was super communicative.

We had the absolute best time at MJ’s place, highly recommend !! The house is spatious yet very cozy and quiet, with a nice back porch to sit and enjoy the surrounding woods! Home is also very close to town and to Poryland/coastline, and the cleanest lake to swim in that we’ve ever been to! MJ was very helpful and quick to respond. Stay here! We hope to return sometime soon!!

We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. We liked the proximity to snowmobile trails, the pellet stove, and the TV options. Thanks and we will be back.

Winter Wonderland Retreat!!! Talia's place was AMAZING!!! We arrived during a snow storm and within a couple of hours the roads and the driveway were all cleared and plowed! The Cabin and trees were all cloaked in snow and it was warm and cozy inside!!! Our two doggos enjoyed exploring the woods and searching for signs of the deer family living nearby. There was a family with young deer and they slept under the pine trees in the back woods. :) They also enjoyed their strolls down the driveway and along the quiet neighborhood roads. :) The night sky was UNBELIEVABLE!!! I did not realize there were so many stars in the night sky!! :) The cabin is very close to Pleasant Mountain, which is a beautiful place to ski! :) The Cabin had everything we needed!! We are looking forward to our next retreat already!! Talia was awesome! She was very helpful and responsive. We loved our stay!! Thank you for everything, Talia!! :)

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Moose Tracks Cabin was incredible! Such a beautiful house surrounded by nature, yet still close driving to get into town. The house was used as homebase for a weekend full of skiing, snowboarding and adventuring. We took full advantage of the ping pong table and dart board in the basement! What an amazing home to be in for a wonderful extended getaway weekend with family. We will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I had a great 3-night stay at Liz’s cabin. It was an enchanting place to spend a rainy long weekend with all the warmth and coziness that one would want from a cabin in the woods. As others have noted, the location is superbly private and relaxing! We loved sitting by the fire, having our morning coffee on the enclosed porch and walking the pond-side trails right outside the front door. The cabin makes for a great jumping-off point, too, for lots of great things to explore in the midcoast including Odd Ale Wives, Oxbow Brewing and some great eats in Damariscotta. We really enjoyed our time. Liz and her husband were awesome hosts.

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

Pamela was extremely helpful and accommodating. The place was cute, cozy and clean. Can’t wait to go back next year.

It was exactly what we were looking for as a little weekend get away. It was fairly quiet and in the woods just enough for privacy. The fire pit was great and we just really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again. Only thing notable was the grill did not have a propane tank which was okay to us because we had our own little camping grill but if you plan to use the one there, just a heads up!

If you are looking for a perfect Waldenesque retreat for a few days THIS IS IT. Perfect for those who appreciate the beautiful quiet of life on a marine estuary, who are looking to camp-glamp without intrusion, yet also not ready for a truly remote location (you can get to the charming town of Bath in 15 minutes!). I sincerely hope to return.

We love Katharine’s cabin! This is our second year and we plan to make it a tradition. It’s just a great location, and the cabin makes you feel right at home. It’s easy to disconnect and just take Boothsbay in! Thank you for having us!

What a peaceful retreat. My friend and l stayed during a cold and rainy weekend but what a perfect place to pop on a record, have a cozy fire, listen to the rain on the roof and just disconnect. The morning we left was sun filled and to wake up with the sun streaming in was just breathtaking. Definitely worth a stay

Sherri was very helpful, she responded very quickly! She also provided little treats to make the stay more like home! The bed also felt very clean which was very nice!
