We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

The Hawk’s Nest was the best stay! First off, the cabin was incredible! Thoughtfulness and attention to detail throughout the cabin. We stayed for just a quick weekend but wished we could have stayed longer and definitely plan to go back! Hosts provided a detailed list of all sorts of local recommendations. They also checked in and it was super clear that their goal was for us to be completely satisfied with our stay! We loved it!

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing great local recommendations. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything. We would definitely stay here again. Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

My friends and I came for a ski mountain weekend, and we had the BEST time from the moment we walked through our Airbnb to the second we left. Elizabeth pretty much thought of everything that you could ever need for a worry free stay like super clean towels, linens, down to the cookware (literally anything you could think of, she had in the house). The lake is so beautiful, the blackout shades were super helpful after a long night out, and the shuttle service was awesome to get to the mountain in our gear or home from a late night at the lounge. Highly recommend staying here!

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

We loved staying at Lindsay’s property. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. With 2 children this was a perfect location to ski in and ski out. The space is very small, it is a studio, not a 1-bedroom condo, there is a huge, comfy king bed and a very good pull out sofa bed, but they are pretty tightly packed into the space. The owners provided games and books which was a nice touch. The bedding and the towels were beautifully soft and clean. The kitchen cabinets are very high up, we needed a step stool to get to any pots, pans and cups. This was available, we didn’t make a big dea out of it, we made it work, and really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this stay and definitely come again.

It was our second year in #24 for a terrific northern Michigan golf weekend in the same complex as an owner. The place is perfect for it. We’ll be back again next year!

Gregory’s place was amazing! With having the lake in your backyard and being 5 minutes from some great restaurants AND its basically next door to a fudge shop, it’s a 10/10. We would definitely stay at Gregory’s place again!!

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

Great condo - even brighter, cheerier, and roomier than pictured! Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of linens and beach towels, games, well stocked kitchen.... and the view of the lake is fantastic! There were no neighbors when we were there so it was very quiet. Just minutes to Nub's Nob and the Highlands. Lots of choices for restaurants near by and good grocery store nearby. Host was ultra available and accommodating with lots of instructional / helpful signage throughout the condo, lots of extras!!! Thanks for a great stay! Looking forward to going back!!

Becca’s cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very clean, well furnished and super cozy. The cabin is right on a beautiful lake, which was frozen, but still fun to see ice fishermen. The only issue we had when we first arrived is that we had to shovel our way up the stairs to get into the cabin. Thankfully, there was a shovel thoughtfully placed by the front door by the hosts. While we were there we had considerable amounts of snow (to be expected given the time of year!) and when we needed the driveway plowed, Becca was extremely responsive and had a plow over to the cabin within 15 minutes. My family and friends really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Thank you Becca for letting us stay in your lovely home!

We had a great stay at this lake cottage. It was right on the lake and had everything you need to enjoy a lake getaway. It’s a good central location to Pictured Rocks and Tahquenomen Falls as well as other hiking and outdoor activities. Nice deck with outdoor furniture, grill and fire pit, all overlooking the lake!

Great place for our family get together. Lots of open space, had everything we needed for our group of 7. Made breakfast, lunch and everyone a nice dinner. Plenty of supplies. The AGA stove is pretty unique and fun to learn about. View is amazing and beach is great to explore. Literally no reason to leave once you are there! Nikki was amazing and helpful with suggestions and explanations. One of my group already wants to come back. Thank you!

I would highly recommend to stay here. beautiful scenery, had all the amenities that you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable . The host was very responsive and friendly. I will return :)

Cabin in the Cedars was exceptional. Comfortable and cozy. We loved watching the freighters and a couple tugboats go by. It was perfect for my good friend and I to hang out and catch up. So quiet! We slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! We explored all of the island and the cabin was a great starting and ending point. We already are planning to return in the spring/summer

Beautiful place! Our group of 10 had a great time! Sunrises were amazing and the views of Mackinac Island were beautiful! There was enough seating in the kitchen and on the deck which was a huge plus!! Loved the space and the yard and that it is right on the water!

My wife and I booked this rental for a 30th Wedding Anniversary getaway and to see the fall colors. This is a great house in a great location. It is very well stocked with everything one would need. Our favorite part of the house was the breezeway with the table where we would eat and had a great view of Whitefish Bay while doing so. There was even a pair of binoculars there to see the freighters out in the bay. We made several day trips during the week visiting many State Parks and looked forward to returning to grill our supper. We had an issue related to a storm that came through early in our stay. After contacting Brooke, she made arrangements to get a repair made and it happened promptly. Brooke kept in contact with us to make sure everything was fixed. She is a great host of this wonderful property. We had a delightful time during our stay and hated to leave when the week was done. We highly recommend this great property that has a great host. Our stay was beyond perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, peaceful and private. We enjoyed the views of the lake, and the wildlife. Having the kayaks available was an added plus. Emillie was a fantastic host, very responsive and accommodating. She made sure I had everything I needed. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and I appreciated the little touches like the greeting card, chocolate , and syrup I think?
