Craftsman Bungalow Guest House

Welcome to the Craftsman Bungalow Guest House. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. It is a 1930's Sears Craftsman home located near downtown Greenup, about 1 mile from Rt 70. Greenup, known as the Village of the Porches between Interstate 70, IL RT 40 and IL RT 130, with over 1500 residents. Our Main Street (Cumberland St/Il Rt 121) is also part of the National Road, attractive old architecture, beautiful overhanging porches leading to our Covered Bridge

Miss Honey’s Cottage

Miss Honey’s Cottage is straight out of a story book. Filled with warm tones, charming details and a cozy atmosphere, you will want to make a cup of tea and curl up with a good book, enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch swing, or visit with your friends and family in a welcoming and inviting home. I have provided a game cabinet, stocked kitchen, and outside seating with a fire pit. This 900 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is 4 blocks from downtown in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

The Candy Kitchen

Take a step back in time as you enter this authentic 1930's Soda Fountain located in downtown Greenup Village of the Porches situated on the Historic National Road. The Loomis Family immigrated from Greece and operated the Soda Fountain and Confectionary until the 1960's. It has since been transformed into a spacious and comfortable living area with the original Soda Fountain still intact, beautiful tin ceiling, and also includes a large kitchen, a separate shower room & powder room.

The Relax Inn - Whole Home - 3 bed 2 bath

This stylish recently remodeled house is perfect for the weekend getaway or a long-term stay. The home offers plenty of room for the whole family as well as pets. There is a nicely shaded back yard with a swing set, playhouse and patio. The house provides all the necessary amenities and a few extras for a comfortable stay. The house is located close to the Robinson Refinery and offers plenty of parking. This property is designed for comfort for traveling workers and their families.

The Lake House on Lake Sara puts you right at the edge of the lake — with four kayaks, a crackling fire pit, and a sunlit enclosed porch to come home to. The Lake House is located just a short walk to the Beach, Pinky’s , The Rusty Reel Bar (below Pinky’s) and The Marina. The beach offers a beautiful playground, pavilions, exercise equipment, pickleball courts and a frisbee golf course!

Mill Creek Farmhouse

Soon the boats will be cruising across Mill Creek Lake in search of catch of the day or enjoying some water-sports. While you are in the area make plans to stay at the Mill Creek Farmhouse. Enjoy an outdoor fire pit while having the entire house to yourself. In 15 minutes from the driveway you can have your boat launched and then come back to plenty of room for your family to enjoy their evening. Hope to see you soon!

Cottage By The Park Across From Fairview Park

Cottage by the park is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house just across from Fairview Park in Casey, IL home of Big Things Small Town. The house is also located just across from the Fairview Park that has 2 fishing ponds with Trout in them, a playground, a horse arena, camping area and ball fields. The neighborhood is very nice. We also have a 6 seater golf cart that we rent out on a first come first serve basis.

This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. This is a private, unique cabin that sits on 7 acres with plenty of room to roam. There is a small stocked pond that is great for fishing. Maintained walking trails around the property for easy exploring. Sit on the porch or around the firepit and watch the wildlife that frequent the area.
