Booked last minute- was very pleasantly surprised! Even better than photos! Location was easy to find (drive in late at night) very easy to check in. Very walkable to everything- beach was a few blocks! Great location to get to the middle of town in no time at all. The private patio space with the hot tub was so amazing after a beach day. I will for sure be booking this place again! Also Liza was super helpful and easy to reach if I had any questions. Book here - it’ll exceed expectations!

Ellen's place is a very nice quiet place to stay and enjoy a cozy day/night. The views outside are great and there are a lot of places to just relax on a cold day. the only inconvenience is the area around the property. To get there can be tricky, especially at night, and when it's rainy. And parking, especially with a large car is very hard especially if you have to reverse your way out, or reverse in, especially with the steep driveway. Other than that the property was perfect, and everything felt right, Ellen is a very nice host.

David is probably the best host we've encountered so far. Very proactive, provided details for the property, sent very detailed recommendations for nearby activities. He was open to coming by and showing us everything if we needed. And he added one day stay to our reservation for free without us even asking! The location is great, quiet and beautiful, close to Carmel and Monterey and to nearby parks. Great place to stay with kids. We will be back.

What a beautiful and relaxing short stay we had at Sea Otter Cottage! From soaking in the soothing hot tub to playing in the charming garden, every moment was delightful. Our 5-year-old loved exploring the lovely surroundings, the toys in the house and we truly felt at home in this cozy, welcoming house. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful space with us—we will cherish the memories made here and hope to return at some point!

Annie was a great host and the place was exactly as described and just what we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. We loved the hot tub in the backyard and the beach cottage feel of the place. Thank you for hosting us!

A magical sanctuary! We loved every minute of our stay and the only negative part was that we had to leave. The location is epic- walk anywhere, restaurants, beach, UCSC, downtown, coffee shops. The hot tub is totally private and the place has a very homey feel. The lot is beautiful. Would stay here again.

Carmel River Inn is exceptional! I have stayed here many times and it's always an excellent experience! Beautiful grounds, beautiful, quite,peaceful with a babbling brook behind it!! you can't go wrong, highly recommend it,easy access to many great restaurants and shopping

We loved our stay at Gabriel’s cottage! It was perfect for a long weekend with our kiddo. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry room really helped make everything run smoothly for us. Beds were comfy, neighborhood was calm and welcoming, and just a quick walk down to the beach. It was exactly what we needed! We would love to stay again on our next trip down.

Cozy updated cabin in beautiful area. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Check in was also very easy. Would definitely stay again. :)

Really beautiful spot in Los Altos Hills. The place was nice and spacious, kitchen was huge, nice and modern with lots of light. Very peaceful at night. Hosts very accommodating.

What a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The surrounding redwoods are beautiful! The home was very cozy with attractive decor. It was both comfortable and clean. The location was great and close to State Parks, Roaring Camp redwood forest steam train and a shopping center. SC is about 20 minutes away, so convenient as well. The host Lynn was courteous and friendly which added to our positive experience. Hope to be back again sometime! Thank you!

We very much enjoyed staying at Tamara’s place. Surrounded by trees and with a great patio deck to relax outside, it was a great alternative to a hotel. Tamara’s instructions were super clear and she was very responsive when we had a question. I’d definitely recommend this house and would stay again if our family was in the area.

Place is just as described, if you like being out in the country more rugged and alone this place is for you, just be aware the bedroom has curtains but the rest of home does not at night this might scare somebody but I was fine

Great spot close to the water and easy to access, park and walk to and from.

The location cannot be beat. We loved the simplicity of the cottage. It had what we needed. Everything else the town and area provided. Walking down to the water was the highlight every time we walked out of the house.

This amazing property sits on the tip top of a lush green hill in the Carmel Highlands. The “Studio” is part of a larger property but feels completely private. The grounds are Gorgous and lush with flowers and old growth trees. In the deep gorge that the studio sits right next to, you can hear a river rushing but is covered by forest. The space is older and feels almost mission like, with its thick wooden exposed beams and wood burning fireplace. Every morning I would make myself tea and oatmeal in the thoughtfully appointed kitchen. Then eat on the big patio surrounded by nature with the blue Pacific in the distance. At night we could see stars from the skylight in the loft. Giant windows in EVERY room! It was like being outside. Everything you want is SO close! Even a general store at the bottom of the street in case you crave some Häagen-Dazs. It’s perfect. Caroline

Cozy Corralitos has a garden filled with a wide variety of plants. The lemon and other citrus trees had an abundance of fruit. Many different birds were on site. The house was clean and comfortable with a well provisioned kitchen . Melissa was gracious and quick to reply when I had a question. The neighborhood is very quiet.

my husband and i stayed for 2 months for our sunny winter retreat and it was PERFECT! everything is well stocked from kitchen appliances, linens, toilet paper to batteries. so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. the deck is DIVINE and sun streams in the house morning through sunset. the beach is an easy walk away and very few people during the week. i requested cotton bedding and green, fragrance-free cleaning and Lori generously accommodated our needs. thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our stay in Seaside was just as anticipated. Tiffany’s home was substantial for our family. Plenty of places to sleep, comfortable living area and kitchen. The location was perfect for our weekend plans, and super close to Monterey, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend staying at Tiffany’s place. We will definitely consider it for our next time in the area!
