Such a gorgeous place to stay! The accessibility to the lake is absolutely amazing. Our pup loved walking the beach! I would come back over and over again just to sleep in the king bed. It was the most restful sleep I have ever gotten. The house was exceptionally clean and neat. The yard is very open and there is an unclear property line so we just stayed in a straight line of the house, but the neighbors were so kind to us and our dog! We loved it here! Definitely will be coming back!

Superb location right at the lakefront - heard the surf on the beach while drifting off. Great view of the lake from a front-row location! Great fit for a workday bolted up to a family wedding weekend.

We spent a whole month at Rachel’s place and we didn’t want to leave! The sound of the water in the morning, the sunsets, the private pier… it was all amazing! The bathroom stole the show with the unique shower and the great bathtub. Loved every soak! The bed was also extremely comfy and the fireplace made it extra cozy. I was able to work peacefully in the space and felt very at home. Wifi was very reliable! The added bonus of the available kayaks was so fun! Time on the water was precious and well needed. Rachel was very on top of things and very pleasant to work with. 10/10 would stay again!

We spend a wonderful holiday visiting family in Pittsford. The house was fantastic - great location right on the lake - very clean and comfortable! We got a white Christmas with a few inches of snow and the driveway and walk ways were cleared right away. We made several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again and would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the water!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. After spending busy days in downtown Rochester it was such an easy commute to the lake. It was a gift to arrive and all we had to do was settle in such a cozy and inviting home. Water, snacks, coffee, games were a nice touch too. We are looking forward to stay again in the future. I really enjoyed starting the day with the daily devotional books watching the sun rise over Lake Ontario! It’s truly a spiritual retreat and a treat to stay here.

We were enchanted by Dans lake house. And found it worth every penny. The bed is comfortable, heater works great and the scene is very laid back. The hotels in the area seem to be of the same roadhouse quality, and we are very happy that the cottage was exactly as described. If one is to pay for a hotel it only makes sense to give to an individual instead of a thankless corporation. It is now on our list and we plan on utilizing his chefs table service in the future. Our whole family had a wonderful time on the lake. The house is so spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The water is so nice to swim in with a fabulous sandy bottom all the way out. Lou went well out of his way to make our stay special. Just can’t say enough good!
