A great river for kayaking (4 included), Canoeing (1 included) and a renowned trout fishing. Come and enjoy all the local trails for HIKING, DIRT BIKES, ATV'S and SNOWMOBILING! Or just sit and relax around a campfire! The cabin is fully furnished with all bedding, towels, dish cloths etc. and a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. There are outdoor and indoor games. Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Grandma's Getaway! Plenty of room for your trailer

Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of Northern Michigan at Grandma's Getaway! We have lovingly restored the interior of this home and it reminds me of being at Grandma's house. We have preserved many of the original elements and created a welcoming space around them. Enjoy Mio Dam pond, the AuSable River and walking trails during the day. In the evening relax in the cozy living room and enjoy a movie or play one of our many board games. Wake up to a beautiful view of the Mio Airport.

“The Winchester”

Relax in peaceful tranquility of the newest addition to Gola cabins in “the Winchester”. A newly built Tiny Cabin situated in the forest next to a private pond. The property is bordering the Huron national Forest with plenty of hiking trails throughout. We are directly across the street from an ORV Trail head. This is a perfect location for UTV, ATV and, snowmobiling. The cabin is equipped with AC, a bathroom with shower and a small kitchen. Plus a bon-fire pit. W/ cooking grate.
