Johns Island - on the water @ Bass Harbor Cottages

Johns Island is on the first floor of our historic three room Inn and has a wrap-around farmer's porch with a side-view across Bass Harbor. This room is street side and faces a meadow which is filled with lupines in the spring. Take the staircase to the shore, watch the tide change and look for your favorite shore bird - guillemots, loons and eagles are frequent visitors. Free Standing Cottage (330 sf) located at the Ivy Manor Inn - Village center. Private entrance & off street parking. Hotel style room, no kitchenette. The Inn is located in downtown Bar Harbor on historic Main Street across from the Village Green. Walk to everything the village has to offer. Leave your car safely tucked away in our private parking space while you explore town, or take a quick stroll across the street to catch the Island Explorer into Acadia National Park.
