You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing or rocking chairs and listen to the night sounds or chat with friends. Established in January 2025, Marjory’s Cottage House honors the rich heritage and enduring spirit of the home originally built in 1951 by Floyd L. Erdahl. Located on Vernon Street, the house was constructed from a Gamble Store Home Construction Kit at a cost of just $5,000—a testament to postwar ingenuity and craftsmanship. Today, Marjory’s Cottage House stands not only as a place of warmth and memory but also as a tribute to the legacy of a family deeply rooted in the fabric of its community.

Enjoy your stay in the old servant's quarters of the manor built by circus owner Jeremiah Mugivan. This completely remodeled upstairs apartment with kitchenette is located in the carriage house. Separate living room boasts flat panel tv and a futon for an extra guest. Kitchenette features microwave, K. Cup coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, plates and silverware. Bedroom features queen bed with walk in closet. Towels and linens are provided. One block from Downtown.
