I spent four nights at Fanny and Mustapha‘s place and felt very much at home. Mustapha cooks the most delicious regional food and is always present for recommendations or general positive attitude. The house is located right on the edge of the peaceful oasis only twenty minutes away from the gorge, which makes it not only quiet and peaceful, but also well located for day-trips. I would recommend staying here and would gladly come back another time!

Our stay at Fanny’s place was fantastic. Communication was smooth and easy. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and offered great value for the price. We especially enjoyed the stunning view over the oasis of Tinghir — breathtaking! Fanny’s husband Mustapha also cooked for us, and the (vegetarian) food was really good! I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable, memorable experience in Tinghir!

Notre séjour c'est très bien passé, joli endroit, accueil chaleureux, piscine très agréable par cette chaleur, endroit très reposant, dîner et petit-déjeuner parfait, je recommande.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mustapha. La maisonnette est très bien située, au-dessus de la magnifique palmeraie dans laquelle nous avons pu nous promener et à distance de marche du centre-ville (à travers la palmeraie). Le logement était très propre. Une bonne étape entre Ouarzazate et Merzouga.

Très bon accueil et logement de qualité, belle maison de caractère avec tout le confort requis. Rencontre très sympathique avec Lahcen et Rachid, une cuisine authentique et de qualité. La proximité avec les jardins de la vallée des roses est agréable pour effectuer une balade dans le secteur. Nous serions heureux de revenir faire une excursion avec Lahcen qui est guide officiel.

We have really enjoyed our stay with Lhoussein’s family during our trip. It is an excellent stop when crossing the Atlas mountains. Do not expect a 5 star hotel but if you like to experience some true local Berber culture then this is the place to be. We were warmly hosted by the family. The older children speak some French and English. Lhoussein himself was away for work but communication with him was easy . His wife Aisha is a kind hostess and wonderful cook . We enjoined dinner (you can ask for this in advance) and breakfast. In the bedroom you will find a stack of blankets and we did not feel cold at all. Please note that this location used to be one big Guesthouse but has now been split in 2. One side is Lhoussein through Airbnb only and the other is run by his sister on another booking (!) site. Chose this one!!!.

It was a very peaceful place to stay and Moubarak was an excellent host. We went for a walk in the nearby dunes and the mountains. It was a safe and peaceful experience. I definitely recommend.

Nous avons passé 3jours chez Omar, pour un voyage familial. L'accueil est excellent et la famille très agréable et chaleureuse. Les repas sont très bons ( excellente tagine aux légumes!). L'emplacement de l'auberge est idéal, devant les dunes et Omar nous a organisé une belle soirée bivouac dans le désert. Adresse à recommander !

Nice simple BnB in a beautiful remote location up on a mountain overlooking the awesome roses valley. We came directly from Marrakech with a small rental car and where really happy to find the exact opposite of the hustle and bustle of the city. We couldn't find this hotel for a longer time because there are several locations in maps.me but after asking some locals we finally made it. It's about 5mins drive on a dirt road off the main road from kalaat m'gouna. Best would be to save the GPS location before coming here. When we finally found it we were greeted by the hosts which are really nice and friendly people that prepared a dinner for us and gave us some tips for the area. Dinner and breakfast were good. Expect couscous or tagine as everywhere else in this part of marocco ;)

Nice place to stay for one - two night on your way to Merzouga. They have a really nice and traditional accommodation. You can park just in front of the door. His location can be found easy on google maps; Gîte d’étape Traditionnel Berbère. He is an expert in the region and can organise hikes to Berber Nomads or hot-springs close by. The can cook breakfast and dinner for a small additional fee.

Excellent view, very good dinner. Just 5 minutes from Boumalne. Very neat and clean. Shall come again.

the Kasbah was the nicest building in the area. Nice private garden and friendly people. Can recommend for a night to explore the nature in the area.

Nous étions de passage pour une nuit, nous avons pu profiter des paysages splendides et du cadre paisible des lieux. Idéal pour explorer les montagnes et les gorges de Dades. L’hébergement était au top, on peut même dire.. au-dessus de nos attentes. La kasbah est rénovée avec beaucoup de charme et est très confortable. L’accueil était très chaleureux et bienveillant, merci beaucoup!! cela fait beaucoup de bien🙏. Les repas très copieux et délicieux. On recommande à 200%.

We stumbled upon Nkob on our way back from Merzouga and were so glad we did. This vibrant village is full of charm, with well preserved Berber architecture and a lively market for picking up local goods. The Kasbah is cozy and tastefully decorated, with both Berber and Moroccan-style lounges, and two rooftops perfect for stargazing or soaking in the mountain views. Moha, the host, is full of heart and vision. He’s passionate about preserving the culture of his village and finding ways to support the local community through thoughtful tourism. He kindly took the time to show us around the nearby oasis—a gesture we deeply appreciated, and one that made the experience even more special. I’m glad we took this lesser-known route back to Marrakech. I’d love to return for a hike to the prehistoric rock carvings, more cooking classes with the chef, and a dip in the soon-to-be-finished pool. Thank you for having us—this place is full of soul and well worth a visit.

het is een mooie locatie met genoeg activiteiten te doen. Ali en Annouar zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het eten is het restaurant was ook goed.

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour à Berbère Bayt. Seul point faible : la connexion internet est assez mauvaise. La maison est superbe, les paysages autour proposent un dépaysement garanti. Le couscous préparé par Fatima était excellent. Nous recommandons fortement.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans un dôme atypique très confortable et très propre. La piscine est magnifique, le petit déjeuner au top et Mostafa très accueillant .
