The house was very clean and spacious and we really enjoyed sipping our coffee in the 3 season room! The house has a lot of charm and character and we would definitely come back.

Christine’s place was perfect for our needs. We were in town for the night for a triathlon. It was conveniently located near downtown McHenry which was very charming. Christine was very communicative and shared all needed information as well as recommendations for restaurants, etc. she was easy to work with and was flexible. Her place is VERY clean and comfortable. I wish I wouldn’t had to wake up so early so that I could have enjoyed the comfy bed a bit longer. The backyard is lovely and super relaxing. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We felt right at home here with our toddler and our dog. Our son especially loved the fun sunglasses on the coffee table. We hope to return and would definitely recommend.

This place is a gem. Nice and quiet, beautiful property and the inside is as advertised. I would book this place again. I enjoyed my stay and the boat was very responsive and helpful. There's many ammenties and it's just a wonderful location. Many major stores are just a few minutes away. I recommend this place to everyone, 10/10.

Pictures didn’t do this place justice, clean and very well furnished. Kitchen fully stocked as if they live there full time. High end utensils and kitchenware. Very cozy, well lit during the day, several spots to hang out indoors and outside with lots of entertainment options indoors, lots of room to roam outside and a fire pit . Sandra responds instantly, she’s very far from you so you have privacy but always available to come by if you needed anything. Sandra invited my daughter to help her groom the horse and that made her day. Would visit again for sure, and perhaps in the winter if available. The fireplace beckons. There’s an XL size griddle outside which I was allowed to use. She’s offering you all she has, so treat it with care and respect and clean after yourself so that we can all enjoy her place. Thank you Gene and Sandra.

This is the second time we used this place. Hosts are very nice, fair patient. My son with our very little grand children stayed there for the weekend. On the checkout day, it started snowing and it took a little extra time because of small children. Host was understanding and allowed an extra few minutes to check out. We will use this place without hesitation.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Deirdre’s home! It’s a gorgeous property with lots of charm and space, and so many great amenities (theater room, claw foot bathtub, Sonos speakers, ample parking, etc.). Deirdre was also very responsive throughout the process and even helped us with a more flexible checkout time. Absolutely recommend visiting her home, we’re already wishing for another trip!

We enjoyed our stay at Antonio's lovely home. It had all the comforts of home and more. I would most certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for peace and relaxation while on vacation.

Jane responded fast to text messages. very kind, offered to tell about restaurants and local entertainment. I had an issue with the door ( operator error ) called Jane and she called me back to see if i was able to fix the issue, which was a simple fix. I will definitely make sure I reserve there again when I go back into town if available.

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

Scott’s place was very nice! It was updated and clean. With the 3 bedrooms, it was a good home for our multigenerational family to have the space to come together at times and have the space we needed to spread out. The bottom bedroom was a bit chilly due to all of the beautiful, large windows, however, we found extra covers that allowed us to make due. I would suggest if you’re coming in the cooler months to bring warmer pajamas to sleep in. Thanks, Scott!

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

We loved our stay at this property! The location in Abbey Springs is so peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing on the upper balcony overlooking the woods and golf course. It’s not listed, so no deduction in my rating, but for people who are new to Abbey Springs and want to enjoy the lakefront, keep in mind this property doesn’t provide beach gear or beach towels. The golf cart is a huge added bonus and we absolutely loved riding around the resort. Thank you! We will be back for sure!

Stephen was a welcoming host and the cabin was exactly as described. The location is secluded and quiet, but you’re also close to groceries, restaurants and fun antique stores. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the fireplace is cozy and perfect for relaxing. Even with snow on the ground we enjoyed strolling around the property down to the lake. A wonderful stay, we’d love to visit again.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the backyard — it’s beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the bonfire area in the evenings, which made for such a cozy vibe. The theatre room was also a fantastic bonus — perfect for movie nights with great sound and seating. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and fun getaway!

This spot really is family friendly. All of the games and toys were organized and ready to be used! The place was soo peaceful and we saw wildlife every day! The hosts were incredibly quick to respond to any and all questions. We would stay here again!

This Airbnb was ideal for our stay and exceeded expectations. Cleanliness is very important to us and it was very clean! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities had everything you could possibly need. Excellent sleeping space for a large group. The area was nice and quiet. Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.

Wonderful experience. Responsive hosts, charming house, comfortable gathering spaces, well-stocked kitchen, great beds, easy walk to Main St. Hosted a Christmas Eve celebration there with extended family, many coming from out-of-state (and country) as well as from Sun City, and it couldn't have been better. Five stars and happy memories!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect — super close to great restaurants and everything we needed. The kids had a blast with the arcade games like Pac-Man and others — such a fun bonus! Honestly, the pictures didn’t even come close to showing how amazing the kitchen was. It was much bigger than we thought and hands down the most well-stocked kitchen we’ve ever had in an Airbnb! The stairs are a little steep, but they do have that clearly noted in the listing. Plus, there’s a locking door at the bottom, which made us feel completely at ease with our young kids. We didn’t end up using the upstairs, but it looked very spacious and would be perfect for a bigger group. Christina, the host’s assistant, was fantastic — so friendly and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We truly had the best time and would 100% love to stay here again in the future.

We had a great time at Brent's cottage for a long weekend with our puppy. The neighborhood was walkable (including the general store and lake) and peaceful/quiet. The house was as described and seemingly recently updated with lovely furniture and decor. The kitchen was lovely, easy to use, and felt at home, with many dishes, pots/pans, and cutlery/utensils. Easy check-in with a keypad, and Brent was communicative about all instructions and local recommendations - of which we tried many! I will say that the bathroom was a bit small for us, but that's to be expected in a cottage; I'm just a bit spoiled with our high water pressure and water softener at home :) Also, I was hoping for a fenced area for our doggie, but we managed walks with the leash with no problem. We can definitely see ourselves staying here again!

I pulled up after hours and a man named Jim pulled right up in a golf cart and showed me the way to the cabin. I didn’t know it didn’t come with sheets, blanket and pillow. He told me he would go grab them all for me and brought them to me quickly. Bathrooms were a quick 1 min walk away and they were super clean! Very nice stay for the price! Very cozy!
