Where the road ends, Anderson Lake begins. Welcome to a 14-acre waterfront escape with access to 1,000 feet of shoreline - approximately 2 hours north of Whistler, but far from the usual. Surrounded by mountains, forest, water, and open sky, this is a place to settle in and let the day unfold. Some days are calm and glassy. Other times, a warm wind moves through, bringing a different kind of energy to the lake. Swim, paddle, sail, fish, explore, gather, linger. Here, the lake sets the pace.

Bring your boat, paddle boards, canoes or kayaks. Our space is located only a few steps away from the community boat launch. There are plenty of activities for the outdoor enthusiast all four seasons of the year. Off road in the mountains or on the lake, adventure is all around us. Visit Birkenhead lake too!

Hiking, mountain biking, skiing, horse riding, fishing and golf are all in easy reach!

We are located a 7 minute drive down the Meadows from the town of Pemberton, situated along the meandering Ryan River. Birken House is located above a home based bakery in the grounds of a 110-year old farmhouse, and is rumoured to be the location of an original stagecoach stop on the Douglas Trail. The suite is south facing, with tasteful decor and big folding doors opening on to an awesome view . It's rustic but contemporary; airy in summer and cosy in winter. It’s 30 minutes north of Pemberton, and is a great base from which to explore Birkenhead Provincial Park, Gates and Anderson Lakes

Miles of hiking trains, and access to whispering falls, Anderson Lake, 40 minutes drive to Joffre lakes and glacier, Duffy Lake and Seaton Lake.

Very quiet, unique décor, sleeping loft, full kitchen. WC and shower in an other building. There is an outhouse also. Private patio at the back. 3 nearby lakes for fishing and swimming. Please bring slippers, no outdoor shoes inside please. No running water in the Cottage, however you have access to water at the back where you may do the dishes etc. when weather permits. Adults only please, not safe for children.
