Up in "The County" you'll find the sky is bigger, the view is farther, and the sunsets are spectacular. Our location is rural, but not remote. Whether here for a couples' weekend, family getaway, or group adventure, it has everything you need for a relaxing stay at home or as a base camp for your excursions. Hunters, ATVs & sleds welcome.

The Buck Stops Here cozy cottage

We are nestled in the hillside, surrounded by forest & wildlife. Pet friendly during the months of May-October. Great news, the snowmobile and ATV trails are located just 2 minutes from the cottage! When given the opportunity, this is the perfect escape to view deer and wild turkeys! Take an adventure wheeling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing or hiking. End the day with a bonfire and star gazing or snuggle up by the indoor wood stove. You decide it's your vacation to enjoy!

Salmon Hill Loft

The loft has approx. 900 square feet of open space with a natural and comfortable atmosphere to relax or work. Well stocked kitchen, groomed nature trails to hike, ski or snow shoe. The main house has a hot tub that is private and for your enjoyment during your stay where you can enjoy the breathtaking Saint John River view. Did you know that ranked in the seven most scenic drives in the world is The Saint John River!! Plus, nighttime offers the Milky Way and more!

The Maine House

Welcome to our Veteran owned home in Northern Maine with lush green grass and beautiful trees, spacious interior and fenced in back yard. Enjoy being in city limits in a quiet culdesac with a walking path in close proximity. Centrally located among many towns where many activities and events occur. Enjoy a fire in the backyard as you watch the sunset. Play an intense game of foosball with your friends/family. We want you to feel at home the way we always do.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Cabin features 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, mini fridge and keurig. The shower house is a short walk away to your private bathroom with it’s on demand hot water, towels, hairdryer. There’s also a laundry T room available on site for guests to be able to use an outside sinks. Enjoy a quiet evening by the fire. Feel free to use the grill on site as well. Locating at Legacy Ranch & Event Center.

Gram's Cabin

Gram's Cabin is the perfect place to rest on your hiking trip to Mt. Carleton, or to unwind on a hunting excursion. Secluded yet modern accommodations include a furnished kitchen and Starkink WiFi to stay in touch with the world. The Cabin is accessible by car, via Route 108. With accommodations for 6, and room for more, this is the ideal spot for a retreat. Gram’s cabin is 20 minutes from Plaster Rock, and 40 minutes from Mount Carleton.

This spacious Farmouse located in Mapleton has direct access to Trl. #105. From there it's easy access the rest of Northern Maine trail system. This warm home has retro charm and space for the whole crew after a day of riding.
