We were a group of 6 people and rented out the 3 flats which were nice to have some privacy on each floor. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need. There was no place for all of us to sit in since there were only 1-bedroom apartments in the same building, and the living rooms were too small. The house was not prepared for big groups. We were spending most of our time on the terrace.

I came to Istanbul to celebrate my mum’e end of chemo and her 70th birthday with her sister and two of her friends. It was a celebration. Sukru’s place was the perfect set for that, perfect location even though Beşiktaş is very steepy but that was an adventure too. Lovely area and the house was super nice. I was practicing yoga in the living room every morning. Very recommended.

Our family of eight adults spent a week in Maison Tomtom. The space was beautiful! Soft lights and music were on when we arrived, providing a warm welcome. Each couple had their own private space and bathroom. The keypad entry allowed us all to come and go as we pleased. Really appreciated the large kitchen table- a great place for us all to gather and plan our days. Asli was able to guide me to a local shop when I mentioned I was interested in buying some of the decor featured in the home. A truly beautiful, unique building that fit our needs perfectly.

Visiting Istanbul with friends, we stayed in this house for 5 days and had a great time. The house is perfectly located in the centre of the historical part of Beyoğlu, close to Galata tower, a neighbourhood with restaurants and bar options. Close by, there are the metro and tram which easily bring you to Sultanahmet and Fatih. The house is very spacious, with bedrooms and bathrooms on floors 1 and 2 and kitchen+living room on Floor 3. At the top floor, there is an amazing rooftop terrace with a great view on the Bosphorus. A great place to wind down and have a pre-dinner aperitif. Hakan was very easy to communicate with and was always very responsive (almost always instantly). The self check-in and check-out went very smoothly and we were able to leave our luggage safely at the apartment until a few hours after check-out.

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

Vielen Dank an Sarah für die tolle Betreuung. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Leuten und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Gegend hat es schöne Cafés und kleine Läden. Wir sind auch zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten mehrheitlich zu Fuss gegangen.

Can’t say good enough things about this place! The host was so responsive, sending photos and videos of how to get in, local attractions etc etc. the flat is lovely and has great furnishings and comfy beds! 11/10

Great location and price. Townhouse on 3 floors. Unable to take advantage of roof terrace sitting area due to weather ( start of April). 1 min walk to the blue mosque and Haghia Sophia. Transport arranged by host which was prompt and efficient. Fully kitted out kitchen and with sitting area. All over great experience.

Im ersten Moment war ich etwas enttäuscht, weil das Zimmer kleiner ist als es durch die Weitwinkelaufnahme in der Annonce erscheint. Das war aber schnell vergessen, weil das Zimmer trotzdem gemütlich und sauber ist, Filiz unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit, die Gegend sehr ruhig und trotzdem nah an tollen Restaurants und den Höhepunkten des historischen Istanbuls. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und sollten wir nochmals nach Istanbul reisen, würden wir ganz sicher wieder bei Filiz anfragen.
