Nos collaborateurs auront passé 12 nuits au final sur les 3 prévues et nous ont fait part de leur plaisir à séjourner chez Christine. Sa disponibilité, sa réactivité ont été de précieux éléments dans le suivi du séjour de nos salariés. Nous ne manquerons pas de réserver de nouveau lorsque nos besoins nous renverrons du côté de Thionville. C'est un hébergement où se rendre les yeux fermés !

I enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing stay in Francis's house, where I felt immediately like home. Francis were always responsive, the house was exacly as described. I would definitely recomend it for a quiet getaway, far from the crowded towns.

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean and spacious. The location is good, it’s in walking distance from the city center. Communication with the host was smooth. We would recommend a stay with Hélène.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay in this area, you really can't go wrong with this apartment. Dieter and Waltraud are exemplary hosts: they live upstairs, so provided us with a warm welcome and were also on hand if we had questions or problems, but they also respected our privacy and left us to ourselves as much as we wanted. The apartment is spacious, cool, perfectly clean and well-equipped, with far more than the basics provided. Of course, in every holiday apartment one always finds that there are some tiny omissionssignifi in the kitchen equipment, but for us the only significant thing this apartment was missing was curtains or blinds in the bedrooms - of course, there was lots of spare bedding, so we easily made do by hanging blankets at the windows. (You may well find that Dieter and Waltraud have hung some curtains by the time you stay!) Before we arrived, we had worried that the motorway might be near enough to disturb us, but we hardly heard it at all: on the contrary, we loved eating our evening meals in the convenient and attractive outdoor area, enjoying the peace and the countryside near at hand. Our stay was badly timed since, as Britons, all of France, Belgium and Luxembourg (all within easy reach of the apartment) were off limits to us, but we still found plenty of attractive and interesting places to go in this corner of Germany. We definitely look forward to visiting this area again when the borders are open, and certainly hope to stay once again in this lovely apartment, which we recommend without reservation.

Wat een fantastich huis hebben jullie! Het was nog groter dan we hadden verwacht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Vanuit het huis loop je zo de natuur in en zijn er veel mogelijkheden om een mooie wandeling te maken. Mocht je de drukte van de stad op willen zoeken dan zijn de steden Metz en Nancy in de buurt. Wij hebben in ieder geval enorm genoten!

A lovely gite, clean, comfortable, and quiet with everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Aircon and air source heating are a nice touch, plus shower is very powerful and hot, plus a handy downstairs loo. Isabelle the host was perfect, very responsive, polite and spoke very good English (much better than my French). Would certainly stay again if we visit this area of France again, which is beautiful to say the least. Perfect for visiting the Marginot line (an hours drive from Ouverage de Simershoff) and related WWII sites, plus WWI sites around Metz, also a great and easy drive to Alsace. A couple of big supermarches near by and a very handy automated shop if arriving late, just 5min away (Le Galin Shop, D910, 57420 Louvigny, France), great if a meat lover. We didn't get chance to visit any local eateries but lots of info in the gite to some local restaurants and other places to visit. Overall a great place to stay.
