we had a wonderful time at Robert's place. Everything was as described. the island is a perfect getaway for anyone that wants to go on an adventure and get away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook, it was perfect! Everything was well thought of in this home. On a side note, golf carts need to be booked months in advance and are pretty pricey and we hoped to walk around the island but we're told upon checkin that was not allowed. we could only go to the beach and back to the property. You could walk along the beach though.

Joe made us feel welcome right away and they responded to everyone of our needs in a timely manner. We’ve never been there before and they helped us navigate our way to the destinations. Great for a large family with a very well equipped kitchen. There were nice sized TVs for rainy daysand quick access to all the stores we need to get to. We loved every minute and appreciated our Host being so friendly. Great for a long stay!

This place was absolutely gorgeous. Knowing that we were the first people to stay here after the hurricane damage made us a bit nervous. The property was completely fixed up and everything was perfect. The communication before our arrival was superb.

Joe's place feels like a real home - many AirBnBs can feel like a hotel with a little more space - Joe's house was not that! Complete with a ton of my personal favorite books, tons of kitchen utensils/supplies, a desk, and more. The huge fenced in backyard was perfect for grilling and our dogs. The location is right off of a main road that takes you to shopping/amenities within minutes. If you're looking for a great place to feel comfortable while visiting Sarasota, we'd recommend Joe's property to anyone!

Amazing place. We had wonderful time here, felt like at home. House was very clean. My nephew loved Pokémon game in the living room. A lot of toys for kids. We spent most of the time playing games, fishing and kayaking. Cj is a wonderful host, very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place, and I hope we will stay here again.

Convenient location , clean and well stocked , would stay again

Placida holds a special place in our hearts and Igor’s place absolutely met my high expectations for this vacation. I have little children so cleanliness is a must for me and this house was absolutely clean and the beds are VERY comfortable which is also high on my list. A bad bed, bad sleep, can literally make or break a trip and the beds were very comfy. We slept amazing! My children say the pool was the best part of their stay and it was awesome for me to have full vision on the pool inside the house and in the pool area. The location is perfect. We spent a lot of time on Boca but not being confined to the island is why we stayed off the island. The best Publix is literally across the street. We met the neighbors who have high regard for Igor. We didn’t use the kayaks (again little children stopped that) but loved that they were available. The house is fully stocked, all we needed was food. It was such a lovely stay.

My fiancé, our 1 year old and I stayed here for the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back. There were kayaks and canoes to take into the river which was fun and free roaming farm animals. I was happy to see the Airbnb was spotless. We felt right at home immediately!

The house had pretty much anything you could think of needing. It was stocked inside and out. We had a blast using the kayaks and was super easy to walk to the beach or bay.

This was our second time staying here. Unit is cozy and as described. Quiet neighborhood good for walks and bike rides. You can easily walk to the restaurants down the street. Beach location is also close. We enjoyed sitting on the porch for our coffee and breakfast. Host is responsible and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb is a gem, located just 8 minutes away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. From a fully stocked kitchen to cozy linens and even beach gear, they've got it all covered. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very nice place to stay. Perfect location to the beaches and nice restaurants/hang out spots that were very close. Very quiet and peaceful. September is a quiet month - not lots of tourists. Lovely place that was clean and nicely decorated. My only issue was that the shower water never got above luke warm. I like hot showers. Otherwise, very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time staying here! The home was beautiful with all the beach supplies one could want. As someone who drove their boat up, the dock had great cleat availability and we had no problems getting a spot. One of the easier places to dock at that I have stayed overnight. Home also has everything for cooking and good wifi for being on an island. Loved the vibe of LGI, watching the sunset, and exploring the surrounding islands. Would definitely stay again!

This little cottage was a great place for our family to vacation. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the provided beach gear was very helpful. The cottage is very clean, and was recently renovated. There were a few small concerns that came up, and they were promptly responded to. The pool area was just enough to relax in and is directly behind the cottage. For future guests, all kitchen appliances are on a platform that makes them roughly 6" taller than they would normally be. It would be good to conisder that so that you are not cooking under your chin. The sink is also very small for dishes, however there is a dishwasher. The bathroom is a Jack and Jill style, and the toilet is quite loud for light sleepers. The only thing I would change is that the entire front of the cottage is parking, for you, and the cottage behind. It can feel a bit fishbowl-y at times if other guests are coming and going frequently.
