The place was fantastic The place is huge and has everything you could need The kitchen appliances looked brand new It’s an excellent place to stay with restaurants and supermarkets and the beach close by We liked it so much we extended our trip for another week!

Great location and very close to the marina, cable cars, tourist areas, shopping and restaurants. Oh my goodness and the views from the balcony were amazing! I was traveling with my sister and we were able to walk around at night and feel safe. Could the bed be a little softer, yes but it did its job. Loved the shower, loved the building, loved the responsiveness of the host. Also loved it had a private parking space for the rental. One of the best parts is the welcome water!! We were so parched and it was a perfect greeting.

We have had the most wonderful holiday in Beautiful Madeira. Yana's apartment is absolutely amazing and the view was something else !!!! After a busy day to arrive back to this apartment and sit relaxing on the balcony was all that you needed. The view was never the same either calm seas or amazing waves and also looking over to Funchal Town. Lots of lovely restaurants near. Forum Mall a short walk away with lots of shops and a great supermarket. The walk into Funchal Town was about 50 mins but we used local buses which were cheap to use. Amazing treks ..waterfalls..coastline..worth going on an organised tour. We would recommend Yana's apartment 100%..we will most definitely return.

Prachtig modern appartement met alle voorzieningen. Zeer mooi, stijlvol én praktisch ingericht. Ook de parkeerplaats onder het gebouw is zeer handig. Rooftop zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Gym is klein en was helaas niet geopend. Het verblijf ligt in het centrum dus wel het nodige verkeer maar niet storend. Momenteel zijn er bouwwerken vlak naast het gebouw maar de geluidshinder is beperkt. Kortom, een zeer mooie accommodatie in een levendige omgeving. De hosts geven goede tips én reageerden meteen bij vragen.

Our stay at Patricia’s apartment in Funchal was excellent in every way! First of all, the location is perfect — just a 2-minute walk from Funchal Marina, right next to a supermarket, and very close to bus stops, which made getting around incredibly easy and fast. The apartment itself was in impeccable condition: spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped — it truly felt like a real home. We didn’t miss a thing — from appliances to kitchenware, everything was available and in perfect working order. Patricia was a wonderful host — kind, helpful, and always available. She was there for anything we needed and handled every little issue quickly and professionally. She really made us feel welcome and safe throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would definitely choose it again for a future trip to Funchal!

Vi tilbragte 4 uger i Emanuels lejlighed. Gåafstand til indkøb, bycentrum og havnefront. Diverse busruter lige rundt om hjørnet. Vi følte os meget velkomne og de små praktiske problemer, der opstod undervejs, blev løst med det samme. Grundet beliggenheden er der en del trafikstøj, men når det blev for meget, lukkede vi vinduer og altandør - og så var det ok. Emanuel er en fin vært, der svarede meget hurtigt på spørgsmål. Vi blev modtaget meget venligt og fik god instruktion. Tilmed fik vi lokale smagsprøver :-) Vi kan varmt anbefale et ophold hos Emanuel.

Die gesamte Anlage ist der sehr sauber und ruhig. Die Wohnung ist modern und klar geschnitten. Die Ausstattung der Küche für einfaches Kochen gut ausgestattet. Leider liegt der Balkon den ganzen Tag im Schatten (Reisezeitraum im Februar), im Sommer ist man damit bestimmt gut aufgehoben. Wenn man Sonne möchte geht man ein wenig und ist am Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Scott's house is incredible, the view is sensational. The house is very spacious, ultra well equipped, very well decorated, and exactly as shown in the photos. The house is in a quiet location, and Funchal old town is easy to reach either by car (very easy and free on street parking on the side of the house), or by bus, (bus stop in front of the house). Communication with Scott was very easy, the house being ready before the usual check in time, we were able to arrive earlier. Thank you so much! I recommend it 150%.

We had a great time at Dina’s place. She is a great host. Everything was super clean and comfortable. It is very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony. It is in a good location and is very private and peaceful. We were able to walk to restaurants and stores. Checking in and out was very easy. Communication with the host is great. She is very responsive. We hope to stay there again in the future and we highly recommend.

Majoituimme Casa dos Francelhosissa, meitä oli seitsemän aikuista. Tilat olivat erinomaiset. Antonio otti meidät vastaan ystävällisesti, opasti kaiken tarvittavan huvilasta, mutta myös antoi mahtavia vinkkejä Madeiran nähtävyyksistä, kaupoista, ruokailupaikosta ja liikkumisesta. Viikko meni muakavasti huvilassa, jossa on mm. kolme kylpyhuonetta sisällä ja neljäs ulkona. Meitä odotti mm. hedelmävadit, tervetuliasviinit sekä kauniit kukat. Kaikki toimi loistavasti. Ulkoterassi ja uima-allasalueoli todella viihtyisä ja kaunis. Viikon aikana myös grillasimme ulkogrillissä. Huvilan sijainti on loistava, alue on rauhallinen ja näkymä merelle kaunis, kävelimme päivittäin keskustaan. Takaisinpäin otimme usein taksin, nuoriso käveli takaisin ja sai hyötyliikuntaa. Takseja sai keskustasta hyvin, Pingo-kaupan uloskäynnin vieressä niitä odotti aina useita. Bolt toimi hyvin myös. Voimme suositella lämpimästi Casa dos Francelhosta!

Beautiful house! Amazing host, Paula makes sure everything is great. She even dropped by in the evening to bring new sheets when our baby threw up on our bed. Too sweet. Also the communication with her was the best ever. Big pool, great garden to have morning coffee in the sun, lovely village on walking distance. Good to know that the water pressure of the showers are a bit low, we were able to get a good shower anyway. Paula is super flexible, we were allowed to stay in the house until our flight left that day because there was not a guest coming that day or the next. All in all we would recommend Paula’s place 1000%.

Outstanding hospitality and overall impeccable accomodation. Grateful for our beautiful vacation!

Our stay at the Madalena do Mar Airbnb was truly unforgettable. The home is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. We were lucky to witness stunning sunrises and sunsets right from the deck. The hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality added so much warmth to our trip. This place made our first time in Madeira perfect. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway on this incredible island.

Nous avons tres bien apprécier le logement, a un endroit avec vue sur la mer et le couché de soleil. Bien place, pour descendre en ville et a la plage. Le logement tres bien aménagé, avec a l extérieure la petite piscine a temperature de 26'. La terrasse au 1er etage esy ideale pour manger le soir devant la ville illuminée. Nous recommandons se logement sans craintes.

Great penthouse in the middle of everything. The harbour in front, the old town on the right, a park on the left and the shopping centre behind. It is a really big apartment with a great terrace. It has two bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Parking is available in the garage below the building. There are many very good restaurants within walking distance. It was a personal welcome and we were given an introduction to the accommodation. It was a very nice stay and we can really recommend this apartment.

Leonardo's place was in a great location, and the views from every window were amazing. Leonardo provided a video for check in, which included what driveway to use, where to park, and how to get to the exact unit. It was really nice to not have to guess or wander around after a long day of travel. The place was clean, well stocked, instructions were clear for rules during the day and for check-out. We would stay here again!

Sehr angenehme Kommunikation, schnelle Reaktion. Gute Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto, Tiefgaragenplatz inklusive. Nahe am Stadtzentrum, tolle Restaurants in der Nähe, auch zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Tolle Empfehlungen der Gastgeberin. Sehr schöne, geräumige Wohnung, gut eingerichtet, hat alles was man so braucht. Sehr sauber!

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

We were extremely comfortable and thought the location was perfect walkable to restaurants, grocery store, deus store and some shopping. Close to attractions in city.

Beautiful apartment, clean, very spacious and wonderful views. The terrace is an amazing bonus, great for relaxing, sunbathing and eating. It has plenty of seating options and even a BBQ. The inside was also very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage. We spent 2 weeks there and found it the perfect base from which to explore Madeira.

This was the perfect place for my family of 4 for 5 nights. Roberto met us for check-in and guided us into the garage, easy to park and utilize the remote control. From there you access the elevator to the 5th floor. The condo is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Our 2 adult children were with us and the room situation was ideal. The weather could have been better, lots of rain, wind mixed with some sun. I chose this over some other homes because of the amazing patio with a view, we didn't use that much due to rain.We ate at Francos the second night, which is around the corner, it was good, but we discovered the streets closer to the water and hotels, and ate in that area the next three nights. We also found a great breakfast/coffee shop called the LOFT in the same area, super yummy and so reasonable. The kitchen was fine, and worked for breakfast on a few days. Good to know there is a washer, but no dryer, so you have a drying rack. We loved our stay here!

We hebben een hele goede tijd gehad in het appartement van Nelson en Paula. Het is er heel ruim, zeer goed voorzien van alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben. Maar het mooiste is toch het prachtige uitzicht op zee en de bergen. Het is een levendige locatie met een prima hamburger tent op de parkeerplaats voor het appartement en genoeg restaurantjes in de buurt. We hebben veel gewandeld in de omgeving, maar vonden het ook leuk om de hike tussen de bananenbomen in Madalena do Mar te doen. Communicatie was uitstekend. Er is een nieuw bed en dat is prima! Het appartement is beslist een aanrader!
