The Carriage House Suites - the South Suite

Welcome to the Carriage House Suites located on the edge of beautiful Blyth Ontario. The suites are next to the historical former Grand Trunk Railway Station that is converted into a home. There is so much to do in Blyth and surrounding area, from dining, live theatre, a craft brewery, to shopping, and beautiful trails. The suites are a short twenty minute drive to the beaches of Lake Huron. There are two suites available, the South Suite and the North Suite. The suites are listed separately.

Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. Beach, Lake and Stay downtown Kincardine at Drifter Lofts. Park your car and walk as you're in the middle of where you want to be. Drifter Lofts is located next to all of Kincardine's restaurants, harbour, lighthouse, beach, hiking trails, parks and more. Free parking on premise while you enjoy your stay.

1940’s Original Kintail Beach Cottage

This original cottage was built in approx. 1940 and includes a beautiful beach stone fireplace. Thoughtful renovations have been recently completed to provide comfort in an incredibly unique space. Kintail beach is about 100 steps from the cottage and you will be amazed to hear the sound of the waves from every room! Catch glimpses of the lake and sunsets from the many windows throughout the cottage or cozy up by the new propane fireplace. We look forward to hosting you! -Nadine and Andrew

Cabin partially OFF GRID in winter months (Nov 1-May 7) No running water/shower/indoor bathroom at this time. Water is provided with water dispenser/maintained outhouse *Wood hot tub replaced in 2025 with nordic spa *Cabin situated on heavily treed 1 acre property with a creek directly in front of a quiet municipal road *Wood stove remains off-limits during the summer season (June-September). Wood & kindling provided for fall/winter use *No firewood provided for firepit/guests to pick up

Quiet Retreat for Two

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

The Byre Cabin at Grassroots Farm

The Byre is old English for 'the barn'. Our hand-built cabin comfortably sleeps two in an open concept main floor bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy field, orchard and pasture views! You'll also enjoy an indoor fireplace to keep you cozy in the colder months and an outdoor campfire to roast marshmallows on summer nights! The kitchen is well suited for light cooking. The bathroom features a rain shower and hot water. Magical string lights make your getaway extra special!

We've topped it off with a heated pool and a woodfired hot tub for total relaxation. It's Glamping meets the Spa! All while just steps or pedals away from the beach and the downtown square.

One block from the beach, one block from downtown shopping, restaurants and pubs. 1) Extra large bedroom, with closet, bureau, king bed; 2) Luxurious, four-piece, ensuite bathroom, with soaker tub, walk-in shower; 3) Sitting room with Wi-Fi, Smart-TV, cable; couch, chair, coffee-maker and small fridge. No kitchen.
