We stayed in 6 other places around Ireland before arriving in Newport. Mary and Phil’s place felt so comfortable right away! Lots of space, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Nice quiet view of the river with a balcony. Easy parking and walkable to town. Kelly’s Kitchen was great for breakfast, and the Gráinne Uaile bar had awesome trad music! Mary and Phil were full of ideas for where to go for music and what to do on rainy days. So appreciated!

The Studio was an amazing place to stay during my weeklong visit to Clifden. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance of this stay. The nearby greenway was also a fabulous perk to the adorable town and shops. The Studio was I. The middle of everything but also quiet and peaceful. The view out the back was delightful and the kitchen was well equipped.

We had a lovely stay at the Orchard, the host was very responsive and helpful. Location was great, walking distance to Westport quay and the town centre. Local taxi numbers were also provided. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The location is absolutely stunning, we both took part in the half marathon, the morning of the race we walked to the start line which made our lives so much easier. It saved so much time trying to get parked and the town was very very busy.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here, the communication with Ciaran and Rachel was great, lots of good recommendations. We were in Westport to climb Croagh Patrick, easily accessible from this property and a great base for exploring around Westport. The location is excellent, easily walkable into the centre of Westport and a lovely walk through the grounds of Westport House as well. A well equipped kitchen and we really loved the turntable and selection a vinyl, if you are staying here and can bring some of your own vinyl with you do it.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this flat, it was even better than the photos! Martin was incredibly accommodating and communicative. I planned my proposal on the balcony overlooking the sea, harbour, and bits of town. Martin very kindly insured that there was a bottle of Bollinger in the fridge for us to celebrate with. It's perfectly located for excursions into town. We will be coming back. Thank you so much for having us!

Linda was a fantastic host, the apartment was large and homely. Excellent location with beautiful views. We would love to return again.

The place was fantastic and exactly what my wife and I needed after driving through the country side for a few days. It’s in a perfect location to walk to the city center and Quay Street for food and drinks. The balcony was perfect for watching the ships come and go and for a little bit of a view when winding down. Would recommend to anyone needing a comfy place to stay a few days in Galway.

Les conseils avisés de Theresa nous ont permis de découvrir des endroits magnifiques ( Falaises de Moher / Tour du Connemara). Theresa a su prendre soin de nous et nous recommandons ses soins. A Truly Exceptional Stay in Murrisk I can’t recommend this property highly enough! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The host, Lorraine, was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. The house itself is beautifully presented, with luxurious bedding and towels, underfloor heating, squeaky clean and everything just right. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delightful welcome package that included homemade scones and jam, a bottle of wine, water, and even milk—which I had forgotten to pick up at the shop. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated...as we're the sticks for climbing the reek! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Clew Bay. It’s peaceful, serene, and only a short distance from Westport. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, but this one truly stands out for its warmth and exceptional hospitality of Lorraine. We loved our stay and will be back!

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!

I've stayed in over 100 Airbnbs and this is by far the best. 14 of us , a mixture of adults and children stayed here over Easter. everything was amazing. once you walk in the view us breath taking. The home has evey amenity you could think of. large open space kitchen with high end everything. the underground heating is a great a touch and the house is always warm. this place is made for kids. they have a toy room which kept all of the kids entertained all weekend. perfect for a family get away. room were all clean great big size and extremely comfortable beds. most of all the hosting was the best I've received. the owners could not do anymore for us. even allowed us to stay an extra night for free as they had no booking the next day. lovely people. I really can't recommend this home enough. I for one will be a frequent visitor and I really look forward to staying again. thanks for the fantastic stay

We had a lovely time at Rachel’s place, the garden at the back is beautiful and the bed was super comfy. Rachel had left fresh bread, milk and butter for us, as well as fresh flowers! That’s very impressive and reflective of the level of detail provided by Rachel. The stone house is in a great location in Newport and it’s only a ten minute drive from Westport. We really enjoyed using the record player in the house ( we are 70’s kids 😂). A great stay and would definitely recommend it!

had a really good time. salthill is right on the see so beautiful views and the view from the living room in the apartment is spectacular. lots of local pubs dotted around. the apartment was brilliant. 2 good sized bedrooms, one of them en suite. kitchen is a decent size and had everything you need to cook up some food. sitting room was lovely with two big recliner sofas and beautiful vistas. walkable into the city centre if you're a decent walker, it's about 2km and perfectly flat. if you're not or you're with someone who isn't a walker there is a bus just round the corner that takes about 5 mins and is fairly regular. car parking around the area is free but very busy so having a dedicated parking space was great.

We absolutely loved this spot for our time in Galway. Easy parking (if the building lot is full you can park for free across the street) and a playground right across the street. Super family friendly place and had all we needed. The fridge is smaller but was sufficient for our 4 night stay. If you would be doing lots of cooking at home, it might be a little cramped. We mostly drove into the city, but you could easily walk it as well. Absolutely can recommend this spot!

Great location on the docks, near the latin quarter. There is loads to do nearby which is walkable.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, great size and had everything you could need. Location was peaceful with great views along the river. It was the perfect spot to use as a base to explore Mayo and also to relax and unwind with a few pubs nearby serving good food. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway

Stayed at Helens place for a few days fishing. Apartment was 100%. Good to get round Mayo and beyond. I would highly recommend Helens Apartment for a vacation for fishing golf and the great outdoors.
