This may be our best vacation rental ever! The experience was wonderful. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with a garage underneath for parking. Cindy provided numerous extra ehancements to facilitate a quality experience. For example, at the outside door, we found laterns, umbrellas, and dog bags. It rained during our stay, but the convenience of having the necessary implements for a late night dog walk, exemplified the special touches Cindy put into her place. Cindy, thank you for the use of your apartment. We loved it, and hope to return in the future.

David & Lynn are wonderful hosts! My plans had changed, and I was happy to book their place again. It was one of the few bookings that felt like home. Thank you both very much for hosting me for my second stay. The In-Law Suite is great. Everything you need is there. My only recommendation is to have your own network cable to connect to the router if you are particular about the cable type and speed.

Perfect place to stay for my 2 daughters and myself while visiting Foxcroft School in Middleburg. We really enjoyed how close the apartment was to downtown restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is brand new, smells fresh, very quiet with lovely views out every window. Both mattresses were wonderfully comfortable. I appreciated the blackout drapes in the twin room. The climate control was perfect (and I’m an HVAC snob so a good judge of quality). There is a shared greenhouse space, which we didn’t utilize, as we didn’t want to disturb the occupants of the main house. Would stay here again without question!

The space was very nice and full of light but also private. Very clean. Vi and her husband were great hosts and very responsive and friendly.

I really appreciated this space. It was private and spacious. I loved the koi pond and truly felt right at home. I had everything I needed and if I didn’t the host was gracious enough to supply extra trash bags, dish soap etc. This apt was exactly what I needed for my three week stay.

John’s place was perfect for our overnight trip to spend time with friends s short distance away in Purcellville. It was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful quiet country setting. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautifully decorated space. You can tell the host(s) (Smirna) takes pride in decorating and making sure their guests are comfortable. Full kitchen with cooking tools, NICE bathroom with seat, COMFY bedroom. My friends and I came to this place for a birthday weekend getaway. Super affordable for what we wanted. Awesome location if you’re looking for things to do in the DMV area- we went to King Spa. Only minor recommendation is to make it clear that the space is above a family home, a little awkward checking in - we almost went through the front door not the side , not realizing the guest space was above a house. We tried to mind the noise and being in and out as we had a packed weekend of events. Overall however, very nice spot for 2-4 guests. I would highly recommend for a weekend end getaway for an intimate, quiet group.

Peaceful and well appointed, this is the perfect spot to get away! Close to Bear Chase and tons of wineries...there's so much to do nearby. Beautiful views, super clean and comfortable. And the host was amazing! Can't wait to return!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Harper's Ferry. This old quirky home has everything you need from comfortable beds to a working fireplace to the most perfect view. Besides being able to walk out your door and be in the heart of the town you have a porch that overlooks the town and the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers. When we weren't hiking or enjoying a stroll about town, we were on the porch relaxing. It is the perfect place to both start your day and end the day. I can't say enough about the view, you really need to stay here and see it for yourself. Dean was an awesome host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful house just a short drive to the town bus stop or 5 minutes to town. Beautiful area.

This house and host made our trip to the Faifax area comfortable and convenient. There were spaces for working, morning yoga, and conversations, and the back deck and yard was lovely for the people and our little dog.

This listing is an absolute gem! The house is beautiful, clean, peaceful and exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It is comfortable for a large group and has many communal spaces that make it easy to enjoy. The kitchen is even better equipped than my kitchen at home and is a joy to cook in. We loved the comfortable beds, outdoor spaces, and all of the little touches that made it feel like home. It is very centrally located and we appreciated the proximity to Harper's Ferry, local attractions, and beautiful hiking. Both Tamara and Tanya were incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. We are already discussing a return trip next year :)

If you're looking to get away, this is a beautiful place. It's just like the pictures, overlooking 300 acres of rolling hills and meadow. Great thanks to Tori for her responsiveness and clear communication!

Had a great time staying at this house. We recently moved back to the U.S. from living in Japan. I booked this place so that we would be able to have my daughters come for Christmas. It had been several years since we had all been together. Cory was an excellent host. There was a Christmas tree in the house which made it feel more like home. The house was clean and had loads of amenities. The house is a quick walk into historic Charles town which has restaurants, stores and coffee shops. Close to Harpers ferry. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a lovely stay in Alison’s home. The house was cozy, spacious and clean (the table tennis table a bonus!!) and conveniently located, with a short drive to the various sites. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in this Airbnb above Abolitionist Ale Works. It’s spacious, bright, clean and charming. It has a lovely kitchen and deck and large bedrooms. It was very clean and directions were very clear. The brewery below is great with beer and many kinds of pizzas. Not far from Harper’s Ferry we enjoyed our touring and ending each night with great food and beer and lovely apartment. Can’t wait to go back! My husband thought it was the coolest Airbnb we have been to so far!

Second time I have stayed and I enjoy the location and the close by food and drink options. Very quiet for a downtown location. While they do not offer parking, free parking is just two blocks away. The street parking in from of Abolitionist makes it easy to unload.

Yezen is a very respectful and polite person. I felt comfortable during my stay. The apartment and bed were clean, and he was very welcoming during check-in. This place is highly recommended.

Nadia was fantastic to work with as we were dealing with a stressful situation that required a quick exit from our home. She made every effort to get us in early even with a same-day guest departure. The apartment is absolutely perfectly stocked! So many thoughtful items made our stay very comfortable and easy. I wish we’re could have stayed longer to enjoy it all! The pond and geese/ducks outside the master bedroom were lovely (and made good sleeping white noise). Highly recommend if you’re in need of a convenient place in the area!
