This wilderness villa sits next to Urho Kekkonen National Park, with its own sauna and, a short walk away, Suomen Latu Kiilopää's fell centre (rental, restaurant, ski tracks). Husky and reindeer safaris, restaurants and slopes are 15 min away in Saariselkä; Ivalo Airport is 35 min. Aurora sightings aren't guaranteed, but few places give a better shot from indoors.

Cabaña para la aurora boreal, con estructura de madera y techo parcialmente de cristal, construida en 2019. Perfecta para observar la aurora boreal y el cielo estrellado en interiores en invierno. Techo de cristal en la cara norte. En verano, la cabaña se ilumina con el sol de la noche. La cabaña cuenta con dos camas bajo el techo de cristal, una cocina, un baño/aseo y un armario para el viento. El techo de cristal cuenta con calefacción, lo que la mantiene luminosa a pesar del mal tiempo.

Authentic Countryhouse at the Reindeer Farm

Welcome to the wild isolation of Eastern Lapland! This country house, built in the 70s, has served as the main building of a reindeer farm, a loving home, grandma’s place, and a shelter for a bunch of cats, dogs, and motherless reindeer babies. Decades have given this house a unique character. It is located between a fish-filled pond and the River Luiro. A small village shop is approximately 2 km away. Massive reindeer herd sightings and hangouts are guaranteed in the wintertime!
