Very clean, amenities were great, plenty of room for all guests.

I've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one was the best stocked and the best for entertaining of all the places I've stayed. We in town for a competition. My son wanted us to rent this house because it looked like it would be a great option for hosting his teammates and friends while we were in Alabama. He was so right! We had visitors stop by four of the five nights we were there, including one night where we hosted the entire team. (Note: I asked and received permission for the 10+ families to have dinner there and volunteered that we wouldn't be drinking alcohol.) Every single parent gushed over the facilities. The kids had a blast. We used the grill, the pool, the fire pit, the kitchen and the various seating areas. It was such a fun night! Also, I really appreciated that the hosts trusted that their guests will treat their property well. Everything in the bathroom and kitchen were so well stocked.

Our family felt right at home. We loved the privacy of this beautiful home. We always felt safe. The location is very convenient to the interstate. We could not have asked for a better temporary housing experience. We really fell in love with housing amenities like the family room, kitchen, walk-in shower, beautiful large completely fenced backyard, large windows to look out and feel at peace. I really liked the place . It served us very well.

We used this home for a family event in the area. The accommodations were just as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. Even light switches were labeled and information was posted where needed throughout the house. There was a little snack bowl on the table that the kids loved. Outstanding stay! We loved it.

What a great place for a relaxing weekend! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a beautiful view. Our boys loved fishing off the dock and using the kayaks. The owners were very responsive and helpful with the incoming storm. Hope to return soon!

Beautiful home, exactly as described in listing. It accommodated our three families for the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, only had to bring our food! The game room was a big hit for the kids and adults. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying here and would stay again. Everything is clean and comfortable. The host usually responds almost immediately. The neighborhood is very quiet. Restaurants, gas stations and stores are not to far away if something is needed and access to the interstate is simple also.

We had the most amazing stay for our Easter weekend! The house had everything to accommodate our large family. Tonya was an amazing host; checking on us, personalized basket with candy for the kids & amazing recommendations for food & fun. The house was clean & full of activities to keep the kids busy. The kayaks were a great addition too! We’d definitely book again!

Our extended family gathered for a fabulously spacious, convenient and beautiful stay. With plenty of gathering space, we were thrilled to discover the layout. The house is divided into three separate sleeping areas- a private primary suite on the main floor and two separate pairs of bedrooms with en suite Jack and Jill baths. (Our nephew enjoyed the crib room adjoining his parents’ bath, we loved a separate suite with our daughters, and our in laws enjoyed the primary suite on the main.)There is so much outdoor living space and an upstairs TV/ play zone. Something for everyone! Clean and convenient with parking for five cars. We could not have enjoyed it more. Beautiful home - wish we could do the whole thing over, but graduation has come and gone. Easy drive to Homewood, Mountain Brook, and down town. Loved the keyless entry, walking to Calla Coffee Shop and the neighborhood Whole Foods. PS-read the review about a bare boned kitchen but we found the essentials and more

Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

5/1/25 to 5/3/25 “Almost home” was a total blessing! This home is charming with such peace and serenity? The views, driving in, were breathtaking! The minute we walked in we felt the Spirit of the Lord. It is definitely a home away from home! This beautiful home had everything we needed for our stay for my nephews wedding. “Almost home” was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary items needed for coffee, to cook a meal, and even snacks!!! The bathrooms were spotless with plenty of towels and both had shampoo, conditioner and body wash! We wished we could have stayed a bit longer! My family and I will definitely keep this listening as a favorite. We are hoping to return in the fall! Blessings, The Hughes and Machado family.

Our family loved our time at the Rock House. Three floors of gathering spaces and comfortable bedrooms. Great outdoor spaces too!! We enjoyed the whole house! Kitchen and large dining room were my favorite places. Beautiful time together! I'm very thankful you share your home.

This location and farmhouse were great for relaxation and just an opportunity to get away from the city. I would stay here again. Loved the front porch and Valentine, the donkey. Highly recommend this stay.

Fantastic home! Less than 15 minutes from the airport and walking distance to a good number of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Home was updated and had plenty of room for all four of us. I will definitely be booking Ericas place again next time I am in Birmingham.

Pam's place was great! It was cozy, clean, and felt like home. The neighborhood was nice, safe, and walkable to Cahaba Brewing and some breakfast places. One of the smoke detectors went off (dying battery), and Pam showed up within minutes—unbelievable! We enjoyed her hospitality while she was there! Pet-friendly was a bonus. We were in town for our son's wedding and got to spend time with our grand dogs; there was even a bed and basket of toys!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home!! Ron is an amazing host very quick to respond to any question’s that you may have. The house was extremely clean and very welcoming. We will definitely be back.
