While looking for a place to stay it’s often difficult to choose. If we had known how fabulous this place was it would have been a no brainer! We all agreed that this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in on all of our travels. Massimiliano was a delight and so personable. He made excellent suggestions one being having a cooking lesson. If you have a chance ask for Francesca! The BEST! One last thing…we left with amazing recommendations for the next part of our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We spent two weeks at Livio's villa. It is a beautiful place, very well taken care of, nicely furnished, comfortable and with all the useful amenities for a family stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, in a quiet park, surrounded by large trees which provided a nice shade in the hot summer days. There is no AC, but we did not feel it was necessary, even with 35 degrees outside. Th walls are thick and keep a nice coolness. It is very conveniently situated, 25 km from Florence, little distance to most interesting places in Chianti region. We traveled a lot, every day and managed to visit most of the region within day trips. There is a supermarket 8 km away and a local store (fresh bread, good salami and other necessary items for breakfast and quick meals) within walking distance. Very nice restaurants in the area, reachble by car. As a plus, a beautiful sunset view from the terrace of the park. In few words, it was perfect for our family with two children. Il Giardino del Uglivi is really a comfortable place to stay. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids and everything was perfect. The description on Airbnb is exactly what we saw during our stay. Two big bedrooms and a huge living area. Perfect bathrooms! It’s important to mention the garden. It was so good for our kids. They enjoyed the playground and the table tennis! About the location, it’s a 10 minute drive to Cortona. But for those with children, Camucia has great playgrounds around 3 minutes by car! Don’t miss them! Certainly we will come back to Giardino del Uglivi as soon as possible!

Sin dal principio ci siamo resi conto che sarebbe andato tutto bene. Host disponibile e precisa. Appartamento carino, ordinato, pulito a due passi dalla chiesa di santa Maria degli angeli e da un supermercato. Abbiamo parcheggiato il van sotto casa (dove ci sono negozietti e tabacchi); in casa pentole, stoviglie, biancherie, saponi. Un terrazzo ottimo visto che siamo con il bimbo. L’host ci ha addirittura fornito un triciclo per far giocare il piccolo. La casa si compone di due camere da letto grandi (una con letto matrimoniale, una con un letto alla francese più un lettino) e una cameretta con lettino singolo. Ci sono due bagni ciascuno ne con doccia (uno nella vasca). Per noi (cinque adulti e un bimbo) è stata una soluzione ideale. Massima disponibilità da parte della host per gli orari di check in e check out. Consiglio vivamente

We spent a glorious and relaxing week at Sarchianello and could not recommend it more. The location was perfect for day trips to local places like Siena and Montalcino, and it was the ideal place to return to for an evening of eating and drinking. We loved our stay and were sorry to leave! It truly felt like a home away from home.

We stayed at Mel's Casa Luca in March 2025 for over a week. Tucked away yet near medieval Campagnatico, it’s 5 minutes from the E78 to Grosseto/Siena, 15-20 minutes to Grosseto, and 30 minutes to the sea. Casa Luca, one of three stone farmhouses on what is essentially an olive farm, offers resort-like amenities which are shared with the guests of the other 2 houses: a trampoline, large pool, and ample walking space. Casa Luca is a single-storey house with two bedrooms with plenty of storage, comfy beds, an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with Netflix, a big bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, there’s a private garden, terrace, BBQ. There is also a shared bakehouse with a pizza oven and huge dining table. We loved it and highly recommend it!

We loved this place. The grandmother welcomed us and she was such a nice lady! There is a lot of space for the kids to play and the view from the swimming pool with the sunsets is amazing! It’s an ideal place to visit some villages in the neighborhood during the day and to relax at the end of the day at the pool. We would love to come back a bit longer!

la nostra prenotazione ha ripagato la nostra aspettativa, ogni dettaglio prenotato corrispondeva a ciò che abbiamo trovato, Elisa poi si è contraddistinta fin da subito con reattività e nel semplificare al massimo il nostro check in, zona per noi ottima per gli spostamenti programmati. Consiglio assolutamente questo alloggio a tutti coloro che desiderano visitare i dintorni del lago. Complimenti, continuate così!! 👌👏💪
