Cozy Pine Log Home

We hand built this 2400 sq.ft home/cabin with local pine logs, these timbers that form the main structure of this cabin are hand notched and stacked local pine. We did most of the work and designing on this and were able to put a personal touch to the work inside and out. NOTE!!!This is a rustic place with modern convenience, (Knotty hickory cabinets, Pebble and tile showers, Bamboo floors, Local, pine, log exterior walls, Tulip popular interior, Log and barn wood furniture. Each cabin has a Q-bed, padded sleeping loft, kitchenette, full b-room, temp controlled & porch swing. no pets

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

This is a charming and private river front home with expansive views of the Buffalo River. The large kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking, as well as boasting a large, fully stocked tea and coffee bar. Enjoy a slow morning on the outdoor patio watching the sun rise across the river while enjoying a cup of organic, locally roasted coffee. It’s a perfect place to unplug and connect with loved ones. There are stairs down to a rock ledge where you can fish, or put in your kayaks.

It is across the street from the Tennessee River & Perryville Marina w a (free) boat ramp. Let the relaxation and/or adventures begin!

Our one bedroom house is just off the Tennessee River at Cypress Creek it’s 3 miles from Mouse Tail Landing State Park. We are 7 miles from Parsons Tn were you can find restaurants groceries etc. There’s a fresh Tennessee River catfish restaurant just across the bridge 5 minutes away. We are in a great location with several things to do from boating fishing hiking kayaking . Also the Buffalo River is close by. Loretta Lynn’s Ranch is a short 50 minutes away where they have several events .
