We had a wonderful stay at Alex’s place, great location near the Cataract Gorge which was within walking distance and led to some brilliant walks into Launceston. Lots of local recommendations for attractions and restaurants provided and a great base to stay in Launceston.

The Madiba apartment is a gem in the Launceston CBD. Spacious, airy and light, it is very generous accommodation for a couple. It has absolutely everything you need and is tastefully done with a couch that will live long in the memory. Just a stone's throw from the fantastic Harvest Market, it is walkable to everything the town has to offer.

Great location, great staff. Everyone very friendly and helpful. The room is located in the basement, which might not suit everyone, but I loved it. Surprisingly spacious. The bed was very comfortable, with hotel standard sheets. Very happy to recommend.

Fabulous location. Launceston Gorge basically on your door step. short drive into town. Perfect spot to explore Launceston. Very clean accomodation and they have been very thoughtful when thinking of there guests needs. comfy bed, washer and drier. Books,games and netflix. kitchen has been set up for your cooking needs. microwave, toaster ect Exactly as the photos show. we will highly recommend this accomodation to all our friends and will be back

Great location! The living room, bedroom and the bathroom are all very big!! ( 5 star bathroom and best shower in TAS! Rated by my partner!) Fancy dishwasher and stylish kitchen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albion Gardens. It definitely felt like being in a home away from home, and a luxurious one at that. The house and gardens are magnificent; privacy and peace are assured. Will highly recommend to friends and family wishing to visit and stay in Launceston or to those who would like a place to escape to for rest and rejuvenation.

Absolutely fantastic house, exactly as described, and very well appointed for young families. There's a full kitchen with good quality pots and pans, large sofa and giant flat screen TV, toys and games for all ages, and super comfy beds. I honestly can't think of a single extra thing I needed to enjoy my stay at Alex's property! While getting to the property from city centre could be a challenge for those without a car, the views afforded along the way are breath-taking and well worth the effort for those with moderate level of fitness. I'm very glad I ended up choosing this property over some of the others around Launceston for my family's short stay in Tassie. I hope I will have an opportunity to return in the future!

We had a wonderful stay, having come from Perth/Melbourne to share Easter as a family. Kids especially loved the peacocks and pademelons right at the front door. Having Cataract Gorge on our doorstep was amazing and let us explore all the walks. Chairlift and ‘hamster wheel’ at the kids playground were highlights for our young boys.
