We can’t say enough nice things about Mark and his wife and their great cabins. Good People. We were right outside Petit Jean State Park. He has bundles of firewood available at a very reasonable price. There’s also a little store with some great homemade fudge,etc right at the entrance to his County Road. We had some car trouble right as we got there, and I called Mark for some local recommendations, and he was happy to accommodate us. Super friendly and helpful, and the shop he recommended took great care of us and had us on the road very quickly. I was worried that our car trouble was going to overshadow the trip, but nothing could be further from the truth. Everyone was so helpful and we enjoyed a great day at the state park and got to see a beautiful sunrise at Petit Jean’s gravesite and overlook by the river, and a Gorgeous sunset at the CCC overlook in the state park. Highly recommended. We would never consider staying anywhere else when we go back to this area.

I thought it looked even better in person than what the pictures depicted & the vintage/rustic touches were cool. VERY clean, likely the cleanest AirBnB we've experienced. The beds were firm but comfortable and cozy. The grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. The patio & front porch had plenty of seating, hot tub was wonderfully relaxing after a day on the trails. Note that it's right off the highway so there is some road noise so if you are expecting a bungalow in the deep woods, this is not it but solid 5-stars and was perfect for a Spring Break getaway.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The area was beautiful and a perfect location within the national forrest to ride sxs. The back deck was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We can't wait to book our next stay!

Waterfall cabin #3 was an absolute dream! It felt like my own private oasis. The waterfall was stunning and felt like I was right on top of it. I hiked down to the bottom and jumped in -so refreshing! There is always a beautiful swimming hole in front of the property with sand, a cabana they are building and tons of chairs. Perfect place to sit and relax. I can’t wait to come back!

Incredible cabin to spend time with your family in nature.. it has everything you are looking for! It is very comfortable and clean and is equipped with everything you need to cook, go to the bathroom etc.. the signal is very good too! I would rent it again without thinking about it!! We were surprised by this place in addition to its beautiful views!!

We enjoyed our time at the house. Wonderful location, everything that we needed was there. Beds were comfortable. Loved the hot tub and outdoor furniture. Wonderful view while on the back deck. Host was awesome and very easy to correspond with.

Great place to get away and enjoy nature. Close to a lot of trails. Clean and quiet scenery. Host was very responsive when we needed any help. Love to stay here again in the future

My husband and I had such a good time on our trip. Kathryn’s home was exactly as described. All the necessities were provided plus extras that we could have anticipated needing. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the animals roam. This place has charm and is so peaceful. We recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a while. We will be back soon!

We really enjoyed staying here. This is the 2nd time we have rented it. Our group meets here from STL / KC and rides trails during our trip. The house is very well located to ride from the house daily. Couldn’t ask for a better interior either. Plenty of room for the 5-6 we had to spread out and enjoy our weekend. We planned meals and bought groceries before we showed up and never had to leave. This place has everything you need!

Great location inside Petit Jean Mountain State Park. We felt safe and the space was peaceful. Love an Airbnb that is dog friendly!

My wife and I had the pleasure to meet Susan and her husband Ronnie. They both were really nice host and gave lots of good advice on where to ride side by sides and great restaurants to get a meal. We loved their cabins and location and definitely will be returning in the future.

Great place right on the Mulberry with plenty of wildlife. More than enough room for a small family. Very close to Oark General Store, Byrd's, and Mountain View Bistro (walk to the bistro - highly reccomend). Near some FSR's / trails for UTV/ATV riding. Will be back!

We loved this beautiful piece of paradise! It’s so relaxing just sitting on the porch and listening to the sound of the flowing creek. My daughter and I spent a lot of time walking on the rocks as her golden played in the water. We also loved walking up and down the roads. We only turned the TV on once for 5 minutes!! Nature at the cabin is hands down better than anything that could be on TV!!

Only problem we had finding prop was expecting to see number on mailbox instead of fence. Everything we needed was provided and more. Everyone from young children to grandparents enjoyed the property. Loved the ambience of the rustic cabin and aroma of cedar. The baked treats were a very nice touch. Lots of room for a gathering of people. Only issue was step up to the back area. Plenty to do on the property in addition to the local attractions. We were all enthralled interacting with the horses. Came prepared to let the little ones try fishing but didn’t get to it. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a place to relax and unwind from the rat race of daily living. Every need anticipated; just need to provide your own meals outside of breakfast.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. It was close to the mountains and the nearby Walmart wasn’t too far away. Clear communication when I expressed concerns about the shower not draining and he offered to pay me to go to the store to buy drano. Due to renovations, there was no a/c in the game shed, but it was nice weather and not at all too hot. Every thing was as explained in the listing. We had several people ask us where we stayed because of the videos I posted on social media so I sent them the link to book here!

We had a nice, quiet overnight stay at Judah's cabin. The space was very clean, and well thought out. We were greeted with a nice ambient fireplace, beautiful pictures throughout the cabin to go along with a nice snack basket and water. The bed was very comfortable as well. Overall we had a great experience after a long day in the Ozarks. Highly recommend!

GREAT CABIN WE LOVE IT AND ONLY 15 MINUTES TO HORSEHEAD LAKE LODGE EVENT CENTER.

We had a wonderful stay. It was everything and more as described. The house has great A/C, strong water pressure, soft beds, and the host was very thoughtful in providing cleaning supplies. The outside was the star of the show. There was plenty of room to go fishing from the bank, as well as a boat dock, which we used to fish from. It rained one day, and we were still able to fish under the awning of the dock. Big yard for kids to play and run about. There was a very nice area to have a fire, but unfortunately, there was a burn ban, and we were unable to take advantage of it. The host had a quick response to a question we had for the nearest boat ramp. Looking forward to staying here again.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The owners were very responsive if a question came about. The location of the cabin was great. Even being close to a main road you still had a peaceful country feel with minimal noise from the road. The cabin felt very cozy and home like. Had plenty of things to go check out in town or if you’re more adventurous, lots of hiking or trails to ride in the area. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Meek’s Mountaintop Retreat. We were looking for a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy nature, and this was the perfect place. The house had all we needed. The views from the living room were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with anything a person could need to cook with. The bedroom was so cute and the bedding was comfortable. We had all we needed to stay warm when the cooler weather came while we were there. We loved the historic character and charm of the home. As I cooked breakfast, I watched the deer eat and play out the back porch. We grilled and dined on the tables outside. We lounged on the outdoor furniture and drank coffee. It was perfect. The trail system and Sunrise Point is also just steps away from the house. Views were spectacular and pictures don’t do justice. Deborah was friendly, helpful and very accommodating!

To say Amber was the best host would be an understatement. This was truly the most underrated and most well put together Airbnb I've ever been to. From the warm welcome notes, the secluded/private home, details throughout the home.. the warm presence of peace and comfort home was so beautifully decorated with love. Amber went the extra mile with EVERY single amenity in the house. There were things we have missed bringing but my lanta they had us covered. If you were missing it, there were accommodations for you! Thank you so very much for hosting us and allowing us a place to stay while we escaped for our wedding weekend. We came engaged and left married! Again.. this was the best and most well done cabin I've ever done. 100% will be returning and have forwarded the listing to many of my friends and family. If you're having doubts... DO IT!! You will NOT regret it.
