Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! We've spent 2 years bringing this 115 year old house back to a home. It was originally a "cure cottage" on Park Avenue, a quiet lovely street just a short walk to downtown Saranac Lake, restaurants, shopping, the beach and tourist attractions. Close to Lake Placid. Includes fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes, firewood.

Village Cottage-Walk to Downtown/Rail Trail

Very cute cottage is within walking distance to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, the rail trail and nightlife. Good side yard with outdoor furniture. Enclosed porch for rainy days. Huge soaking tub. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We do not charge a pet fee but will charge for any damages incurred. This is a cottage next to where we live. We are self check in but you may run into us.

Third floor non smoking apartment . The kitchenette contains a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster oven,Keurig coffee maker. Private bathroom, off street parking for one vehicle only. Additional vehicles must be parked in the village lot. Walk to downtown,10 miles to Lake Placid, plenty of outdoor recreation such as hiking and kayaking nearby. Access to the Adirondack Rail Trail is nearby. This space is suitable for three people comfortably. There is 1 Full sized bed and 1 twin bed.

This private guest space in the second floor of our garage has it's own entrance, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom in a very convenient location. We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.

House on Lake Flower close to downtown and Ice Castle (Winter) and Farmers Market (Summer/Fall). Guests have access to the downstairs of the home (upstairs is vacant/closed off). Picture windows offer fantastic views of Lake Flower, the Adirondacks and the downtown. The house is a short walk to town and restaurants. For holiday events, it’s a great location to watch firework displays. King bed, patio with grill, outdoor fireplace and sunsets.

Studio Getaway

Private setting 5 minute drive from downtown Saranac Lake and 20 minutes to Lake Placid. Bright Studio apartment private balcony overlooking private pond. A bird watcher’s delight! All new in 2017. Hardwood floor. Queen bed. Gas fireplace. Private entrance. Fully stocked kitchen. All bed and bath linens provided. Hair dryer, iron. Separate heater in the bathroom Coffee/ tea, and snacks! The Jennings Cottage

The Jennings Cottage is a cozy bugalow-style apartment, originally built in 1897, and centrally located in downtown Saranac Lake. Located steps to the rail trail, minutes from Dewey and Pisgah, and 10 miles from the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.
