This was the perfect family weekend trip! EVERYTHING is fantastic from the home to the lake access. Easy access, VERY clean. There is virtually no internet, and it was not storming the first day. I think that should be clearly and visibly advertised, almost obnoxiously advertised. However that did not affect our trip and I still rate this 5-stars and one of the best lake houses we’ve ever stayed at! I would recommend this home to anyone in the area or staying in the area.

Mr James’ property was a calm retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of cities and daily life. A bubbling pond below wafts music of water upwards, and the air is filled with bird song and breeze. Mr James’ attention to detail is imprinted through the land, from miles of walking and UTV trails, to rock fire pits, pretty lantern lights to light each camp site. There are endless nooks and solitary retreats tucked away, perfect for reflection, conversation or reading. The lakes and ponds, walking trails and beautiful sites beckon so winsomely, you’ll find yourself meandering for hours outside exploring the wild and native land of Marluc Ranch.

Jen’s place is an absolute gem! The home itself is beautiful, and the large screened-in porch overlooking the pool and lake was a dream—especially in the early mornings. Sitting there with a cup of coffee, listening to the peaceful sounds of the water, was one of the highlights of our trip. The house was immaculately clean—easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The layout is fantastic. We had two couples and kiddos, and there was more than enough space for everyone to spread out comfortably with plenty of privacy. The multiple bathrooms were a huge plus, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—we all slept great! We did run into a small issue during our stay, but Jen was incredibly kind and proactive in her communication. She went out of her way to help us find a solution quickly, and we really appreciated how attentive she was. All around, a wonderful stay—highly recommend!

Beautiful home in idyllic location. we had a very peaceful retreat after exploring the Dallas Fort Worth area.

We had a great time at Kristen’s house! It was super comfortable and clean! Mornings were the best waking up to the beauty view of the lake! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away!

The home was wonderful. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We felt right at home and it was very clean. The view of the lake was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one evening because we were going to a wedding nearby. The house was super cute! It was clean and had cute decor. Clint was super responsive and worked with me on a last minute change when I messaged the night before the stay. This would be a great weekend getaway, very peaceful area and right on the water. Would definitely stay again!

Jessica was wonderful! We spent our wedding weekend here, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to have this precious memory. Super responsive, she answered any questions we had. Her house was the most beautiful place we’ve stayed yet! 10 stars!

i stayed a week here before with me and my coworkers and she was a amazing host but had to leave since we only had booked a week but our trip to texas was for a month and once we saw there was a opening again and we had to take it cause the first time was a great experience

It was just what we needed for my family. The property was very clean and the neighbors are very friendly. Little did we know that the stay was right across the street from a food truck park that happens one day of the weekend and it was nice to grab some food and drinks from there. It was such a nice place for us to stay for the weekend. It surely made it feel like home. Thank you!

I would give this more stars if I could. The place is amazing!!! So much to do for a big group. Everything was exactly as described or better. The pickleball was the draw for us, but everything ended up being a huge hit. Very responsive hosts, everything was super clean, and the kitchen was well appointed. No detail had been overlooked. We hope to go back soon!

We spent a month on the property and it was fantastic! We fished and relaxed in the hammock reading and had friends over to enjoy the beautiful view. There was lots to do and our host was fantastic! Anytime I contacted him he contacted me back immediately and answered any and all questions. The location was great, everything was as he stated it would be. 100% recommend this AirBNB and the host.

Great spot! On the edge of the Lake, well lit, private and the space has great AC with accomodating small fans in the rooms for backup.

We had such a great time at Michelle and Garth's place! In a beautiful country setting but still near Fort Worth, Texas motor speedway, buc-ee's, and Dallas. Good restaurants nearby plus all the shopping you want to do and Walmart and Albertsons are near. You can step out of the house and walk around a 2-mile loop right back to your front door. Everything you need is furnished and the property is absolutely pristine. Garth and Michelle are excellent hosts and great communicators. Hopefully we can return before too long! First class all the way around.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming historic home! It offered plenty of space and was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for an extended visit. The lake view and pool made for a relaxing and peaceful experience. The location was perfect, close to everything and just a short drive to the Stockyards. Ms. Barbara was an excellent host, friendly, responsive, and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. Our family truly enjoyed our time here and we hope to return!

Tomie’s place was a great place to stay while in the Bridgeport area. It was so clean and updated very nicely . Hosts were easy to communicate with and check-in was very simple. The hot tub was a bonus and made for some relaxing nights on the deck, and the grill was great for outdoor cooking. Would definitely stay here again!

This house and the views are amazing! The sunsets from the livingroom with all the windows are so pretty, you feel like you are standing outside. We needed a place to stay for a month while our house was being finished. This was the perfect place for our family. Shwan is such a great host. He is always so responsive and ready to help with anything we needed. Couldnt have asked for anything better. It was such a great experience. I would recomend this place to anyone who needs a lake house getaway for the weekend or a longer stay (which is more enjoyable). Thank you again Shawn!
