This is a beautiful, spacious cottage with everything you could need for a few days away. We all enjoyed relaxing at the cottage in between trips out, the upstairs living space has lovely views and ample space for family meals, cosy reading corners and lots of streaming services to log into. There’s a lovely pub next door that does stone fired pizzas, shops within walking distance and dog walks accessible from the door. The Rivelin valley walks are a few minutes drive away and are great for couples, families and dogs. Sheffield is accessible within 15 mins in the car, great food halls, craft beer places, cute brunch spots and much more. The Peak District for walking and visiting cute villages, outdoor pools and caverns is also within 15-30 minutes. A great place to stay and so much space

We spent eleven nights in this lovely house during our trip to the UK. We liked the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great shower. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and a great base for walking. I would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent property, very clean and Dan was always at the end of the phone for anything we required, including recommendations for the family trip. Highly recommended.

What a lovely house! Stayed here with some friends for the weekend and had such a lovely time. Super comfortable beds and lovely little living room and garden to hang out in. It was so great to stay in an Airbnb and the essentials there for you like milk, butter, even crumpets which was ace! Had a great weekend here and would deffo stay again.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Great place to stay

We had a lovely stay at Kate's house. We loved walking into town through the park along the river. The house was clean, stylish and comfortable with outside space. It was also great to have parking and take our dogs so we had a super time at Russell Street.

A lovely home, photos don't show how lovely it is. Plenty of space inside and out. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. Walkable into the town centre.

We really enjoyed our stay here with our Labrador, it is very dog friendly and we felt at home straight away. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and we had everything we needed in the lodge. We would definitely book again.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. Our 8 year old loved the addition of the XBOX and extra toys to play with too! Thank you so much Rachael! Helen, Dave, Fin, Olive & Gus x

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

If there was a six star rating then I would definitely pick that! Julian’s house is superb, we stayed for 4 nights after the new year as a family and have had the best time. The house is just beautiful in a gorgeous location and very spacious. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs all together and we had more than enough room. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhall farm along with Julian and Jolene who are great and very helpful. Thank you for fab holiday 🥰

Lovely, cozy little place in a nice, peaceful location with convenient walking access to Whitby via the Cinder Trail, and a very short drive from local Supermarket. We appreciated the pool. We also enjoyed ducks wandering around the site, and hearing the hoot of an owl in the evening.

We cannot thank Simon and Lynne enough for the incredible stay that we had with them at their magical cottage. Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. From the amazing communication, warm welcome, and truly breathtaking accommodation, we immediately felt at home and in relaxation mode. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully curated. The hot tub was immaculately cared for and offered welcome relaxation. The beds were so comfy and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. We simply couldn’t fault it. Thank you so very much for making our stay such a memorable one.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Fantastic place tucked away in a sleepy village only 35 minutes form York. The perfect location for anyone visiting the city. We came away for my wife's birthday and on arrival, we were greeted with a happy birthday banner on the front door and when we entered, there was a birthday card a bottle of proseco waiting for us. A lovely gesture! The Piggery is a beautiful home from home with every amenity thought of, immaculately clean and has one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. After a long day of walking around York, it was great to get back and relax in the Hot Tub. Andy & Sue are great hosts and although we didn't actually meet them, they were very responsive to messages before our arrival and were only next door if we needed anything but we didn't as everything that we could of needed was there. Will definitely stay here again..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. peaceful surroundings, lovely helpful neighbours, close walk to the 2 pubs which serve good food, Co op very close by. We came by train and everything was easily accessible to visit Malham, Skipton and surrounding areas. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities you would need., very comfortable beds., couldn't fault the accommodation Lovely garden overlooking the river, we enjoyed sitting in the garden and hearing the birds and seeing people walking along the other side of the river. I am a retired travel consultant , have been to many properties worldwide and can honestly say this cottage and location is worth visiting. Thank you, Jeremy and Jaqui

A lovely get away. The sunset and views are beautiful and unspoilt and very private. Lovely watching the swans on the canal from the cabin. A lovely place and well worth the money.

Absolutely brilliant weekend with the wife, just what we wanted, a quiet peaceful getaway, secluded with privecy, very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was lovely and clean, all the essentials needed if wanting to cook etc, we opted for a local takeaway one night, menus in the cabin or use just eat etc, then hit Leeds the next day, I would highly recommend to anyone, and I would stay again, if you like glamping, this for me is 10 times better, no other pods near you, pure bliss with lovely surrounding views, especially on a night, the cabin has lights around the top, the hot tub has lights, and all you can hear are the birds, all in all it was a fantastic experience and Lee was always at hand for anything we needed, and answered any questions swiftly, I'd recommend to anyone without a second thought and plan to return again in the future.
